Hi everyone,

We're going January 19th through the 22nd. I added the 22nd so my daugther will be able to go on the Grizzly River ride, which is her favorite (it opens on the 22nd after being closed for refurb). We'll only be able to be in the parks for a few hours before we fly home to Seattle on the 22nd, but it is worth it.

This is our third January trip and we have had good luck with the weather in the past. We even managed to dodge the rain last January. I'm not sure if the luck will hold this time, we'll see. I am already obsessively monitoring the weather websites.

You sound just like me! I have been constantly checking Accuweather and Weather.com like every single day! Hopefully this last storm is gonna be all the rain DLR sees for a while so we can both enjoy our January trips!

Accuweather wasn't terribly positive when I checked this morning so I just ignore that one. Other web sites seem to be slightly more positive and I deliberately only look at those. Am I in denial?

On the other hand, if it does rain, the DL lines will be short. . I am more worried about it raining on the days before we go to disneyland. We're spending Jan 15-18 in Huntington Beach, it would be more important to have decent weather those days.

OK I will be at DLR 8 and the 9th. 15th and 16th and 22nd and 23rd. I am not staying anywhere—these are the dates I have planned for my day visits- I am a local! And if anyone wants to hang out or meet up let me know!

I will be at DLR on 21st to 22nd Sara. When you look at my PTR that I will be there from the 21st to 23rd, but I was leaving first thing in the morning on Sunday. It will be nice to meet you in person on the 22nd. I was also going to be at the LA Convention Center for an event that same day but I was planning on just being there for a few hours that day. I was planning on going to DL/DCA for one hour in the morning and than come back to the park later around 2pm to 3pm that day and do WoC for the 9pm show. I can do a meet with you on Saturday the 22nd.

Yes, it is looking quite sunny (cold though...upper 50s?? according to some web sites). I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that "accuweather" isn't accurate, despite the name of the website.

I'm back in the hotel just taken a little break, going to go back soon to see WOC. DCA haven't been too bad. Lots of walls. Ride times have been between 15-30 mins for the major rides. TMS have been 45 mins both times I rode it.
