Those FP's went like crazy, huh! We did it once with the dining package at AG's and then the next day we were at DCA before opening to get FP's the old fashioned way. It's an amazing show, it is.

Turns out I'm postponing my 1 day DLR trip so I'm not actually going on the 29th anymore.

From what I hear the demand isn't nearly as high as it was when it first opened. But it could also be due to the season. I'm not 100% sure. I'll probably go back to doing the meal again the next time I see it.

We're here! Flew in and had dinner at Ralph Brennans tonight. Going to DL tomorrow morning and then to DCA in the evening for WOC! (and have a character breakfast at PCH Grill in the morning too!)

Last Saturday when I was there we went and got fastpasses for WOC a little bit after opening. There wasn't a line to get them. We got the blue section. We ask about what time do they start given away passes for the second show and they though it would be around 1pm.

We made it and checked in at the motel 6 Anaheim maingate. Better than I expected and they gave us room where we will be able to see the fireworks. Very nice staff. Going to the park in the morning and having breakfast with Minnie and friends.

I hope you enjoyed the Minnie & Friends breakfast this morning!! I really love that character meal so much. I hope you saw tons of fun characters.

Wow, that was the best idea I have had going to the Minnie breakfast on the first day. My DD loved all the characters but when they started dancing next to our table I put her down there and she stood there frozen like a statue. It was hilarious. Later in the day she got to meet Pooh and tiger (tiger for the 2nd time) and when it was our turn she ran to pooh and gave him a huge hug, then did the same with Tigger (earlier she hugged him but it was one of those I'm not to sure about this hugs). After the picture was taken she hugged each again and then blew them kisses and yelled by pooh a few times as we walked away. At the end of the day she slept through fantastic and the fireworks she was so tired.

I think we are doing mickeys TT early entry tomorrow though my wife may push that back to Sun.

Oh that is so awesome!! I have not had a disappointing character meal yet but I can't wait to experience them through a little kids eyes as it's always been a group of adults when I go. But they are something else. I remember the last time I ate at M&F there was a little boy who would arm wrestle with every character that came by!!

Eh, don't worry about it Some people make fusses about it every now and again if they see someone posting about it and they feel cheated. But either way we're all free to do what we want and send vouchers out to who we like. I had some to send out a couple weeks ago and one gal on the list I PM'ed never responded and the other I think only needed the Aladdin vouchers in which case it could end up being win win for everyone if you were just interested in MTTMM.

As it is, getting good seats for Aladdin is very easy without the vouchers, especially during the off season. I loved the seats I got without them earlier this month -- front row.

As for the list it goes through lulls and then some people are lucky enough to get them. It's just timing and how many people know that they can send their vouuchers out if they don't use them. We had a period where I swear every day someone new was being removed from the list every day. I hope that now, with a new year coming up, we'll be able to see more people get them. Names haven't been removed as much lately because they are all for 2011 and most people still ahve the ones that expire this month.

It's always worth a shot. You may not get them sure, but there's always the chance that you will.

Good to know. I guess I never considered us before because we are such a big group. I should have thought about adding our Jan. trip since there is only three of us.

Those pictures of the Latin event this weekend should be added to this thread. They are fantastic and I bet many of our January trippers don't realize the special events that are happening.

I wonder how busy the parks are this weekend. My husband and sons are in LA and went to Universal yesterday. They said it was a ghostown and everything was walk-on. They are headed to Downtown Disney this afternoon to do some shopping and lunch.

I can certainly add some links for the Family Fun Weekend information to the OP for everyone to check out if they would like to. I'm so wishing I could just go and take a day trip right now!! It would just be awesome. I love seeing the characters decked out in something other than their traditional garb to boot.

I think a lot of people think there's no point in adding their names to either waitlist for various reasons. It used to be so long but we've finally got the numbers down to the 30's which is new since I started working with the thread. I didn't start it, I just tried to help keep it updated and active with some sense of order to it. Before I did it was a very rare thing for anyone to get vouchers because nobody knew the waitlist even existed. It would be weeks and weeks before it ever saw the light of day.

Last minute decision to go next weekend. My son's birthday is Sat. Jan 22. His school is out the Friday. So we are going Jan 21-23. Got a good last minute rate at HoJo. Have heard really good things about it, so we are looking forward to staying there. We have APs, so the last minute drop and roll with it should work. I hope. I also will need to change his age on my signature line, I guess.

I'm right now in my spot waiting to see WOC for the first time. It's been a LONG but good day. My DD is out once again lying in the stroller cuddling with pooh bear. She has been a real trooper with her only real fit coming after Donald Duck accidentally bonked her on her forehead with his beak when she went to give him a good bye hug. She went from shocked to mad and all day has said Donald, ouwee when ever we mention him. She did get led around toontown by Minnie this morning and that was priceless.
