Oooh, that's not good! I posted this on my TR to, but here is some info. You've probably looked at the maps. We were on the zebra trail but on the first wing off to the right. We overlooked the Uzima savanna. The opposite side of our wing faced the Uzima pool. It was a nice location. Not far from the lobby, on the same side as the restaurants too. I'd stay on the Zebra trail again.

If you want any more info on the activities etc. Let me know. I found all my info tonight.

I agree this is a great location (first wing off to the right of Zebra trail); we stayed here too. We were close to the end of the hall and used the stairwell at the far end of the hall to get quick access to the Mara (only accessible from outside, I think?), pool, night vision viewing area, etc.

my boyfriend and I just got back..the whole week was in the 30s-40s and now that we've left..the highs are in the 70s hahaha we had an amazing time however and are going through disney withdrawal already

We were there at the same time.. how many long sleeve shirts did you buy?

My final count:

two long sleeve shirts
two pairs of gloves
one scarf
two sweatshirts
one coat
one pair of "Hello Kitty" stretchy pants from Japan.. they were great under my jeans! (that got worn 3 times..... along with my wool socks)

Well guys, i have been stalking this forum for almost a week when i found out that we are going to AKL for 5 nights on the 28th! Just the grandparents (my DH's grandparents, but i'm real close to them as is my son) ME and my 20 month old! I am 23 weeks preggo (eh 5 months for those of you who don't speak weeks!) and so it will be a nice slow relaxing trip (then why do i keep trying to plan everything anyway? lol)
This is my second trip to the world, and am sad that DH won't be there... but he "doesnt get" the whole disney thing. Plus he went there many times growing up, so he was already spoiled!
Anyway, keep up the posting everyone! I love being able to share the disney excitement here so everyone else doesn't think I am crazy since that is all i want to talk about!!!

Friends of ours arrived at WDW a few hours ago, they just sent me a photo outside the castle, the MK is EMPTY today. And they are in t-shirts and capri pants for the most part - so nice weather too. Then again we're coming off a high of 22 degree cold snap, so 40 is warm!

Hey Handymom - we'll be at the Poly at the same time!!! We leave in exactly 7 days! Did you request a specific longhouse? We requested Tokelau with a connecting room to my mom, who is going too. I'm beyond excited.

We would put DD to bed (she was 7 mo) and we'd go to the platform in our jammies and watch Wishes. We were not the only ones out there in our jammies (it was August). I supposed now it would be jammies and a jacket.

That sounds awesome!!! I hope we get Tokelau. It seems like a perfect spot for us. I definitely do not have shame when it comes to wearing my PJs for the light show. It's my vacation, right?!

oh trust me....it's totally addictive. So what if they change the forecast completely by the time day 15 comes?! It's the hope and faith that the fair weather will return once again to Orlando that's keeping me going!

sorry, I don't mean to be a hog on this thread..but...looking at Accuweather. Can someone explain the difference between:

- Partly sunny and pleasant
- Partly sunny (no mention of pleasant, even tho it's predicted to be 3 degrees warmer than the previous day)
- Mostly sunny
- Partial sunshine
- Clouds and sunshine
- Times of clouds and sun

do all these mean the same thing - a mix of sun and cloud?! or is there a technical difference between them? Do you think they just get bored saying the same thing over and over so they try to mix it up? Or do you think they haven't really a clue really but mixing it up like this makes it sound like they know what they're talking about?!

I'm spending too much time on the computer, anticipating this trip...
