Hey Jazzygirl. Was going to book AKL but heard the pool/hot tubs closed for refurb. sooooooooooooo we booked WL hoping, of course, for that sunny, hot FL weather. Be sure and let us know how the AKL view etc. is because I truly wanted to see that, but have to go into a FL pool and say I did that.

I will def report back. Honestly I almost booked at WL due to the pool issue but we don't care about the pool....just the pool bar and jacuzzi! LOL! So we're just going to use the jacuzzi at Kidani if we really have the urge to use it. And there's an indoor bar at AKL and a poor bar at Kidani. I got such a good rate on the room and I won't be able to afford to do AKL with savanna view again (at least in the near future) so I figured, there's always next time!

I have been watching the 15 day weather forecast. Looks like it will be warming up when we go. We have had snow here every day for the last week and I am so ready for some Florida sun.

Two weeks today we will be finishing lunch at MK and deciding which ride to ride next! then scope out a spot for the 3 pm parade!

Two weeks from today I will probably be sitting out waiting for DH to get done with Mission:Space and prepping for our lovely dinner at Flying Fish at 8:30pm!

Two more weeks and I predict at about this time we will be having fun once again in MK. We always go there first on the first day. It is "Disney" for us. I love all the parks but have to do MK first.

2 weeks from today I will be sitting here freezing my **** off, being jealous of all of you and writing my TR trying to re-live the memories to make me feel better!

we are down to under 10 days! We won't be doing online check in because I couldn't convince my inlaws that it would be a good idea. DH said to just stay with regular check in because it would be easier, doesn't want his parents getting all flustered with the process. At this point it's no big, I will just be happy to be there

I Kinda doubt it especially if you are checking in a few days ahead. When I worked at a hotel....we assigned rooms for today's arrivals mid-morning I think....as housekeeping coded them ready. Then we would pre-code the room keys and place them in a sleeve with that person's last name on it. As they checked in, we handed them their keys.

But that was for Hampton, not sure how Disney works.

2 weeks from today I hope to be drying off from our first swim at the Kidani pool and then settling into our room. We are thinking of going to the Grand Floridian for the outdoor movie of Hannah Montana that night.
Sooooo excited...but could someone please turn up the thermostat down there...pretty please!!!

I haven't used the online check-in but you will have a packet with all your "stuff" when you arrive. Basically, you just don't have to wait in line to check in at the resort-no interaction with CMs. I like actually dealing with them-they have always been great & if I have any questions they can answer them for me then. If you go during a busy time then it sounds like the on-line check in is the way to go!

We leave in 5 days (yes, my ticker is wrong). I cannot wait to get in the car at 1:30pm on Friday afternoon and start down! We're driving to Jacksonville, staying overnight, then heading to WL on Sat morning!

I still need to start packing! I have lists, but nothing is packed. I think I'm gonna be a crazy woman this week. LOL

Two weeks from right this very minute, we'll be done checking in at WL and on our way to MK. Yippee.

I checked the 15 day outlook on accuweather.com. Looks like it will be back up in the 70's by then. Yay! Hopefully it's correct.
