January 2010. . . Anyone else going???

on AAA website it says deals are coming in January. I was going to buy my tickets this week, but now i am thinking on waiting. Does anyone know historically what this deal might be?

I'm not sure what deals that was about, but on the DIS main page they are showing an offer for Jan-June 2010 that if you buy a 6 night/5 day non discounted package with room/tickets, you get a Disney gift card. $300 for values, $500 for moderate, and $750 for deluxe/villas. I guess you could have a lot of meals and souvenirs for that amount! What a way for Disney to keep their money!

Last year the 4/3 room deal was extended for quite a while.

Yes, it is getting closer! I don't have a ticker as I don't know how to set one up or make all that stuff with the peeps and trips taken. I have never taken the time to find out. I am going on 1/18 and can't wait to tell the kids on Christmas. Have a good holiday everyone!

DH and I are taking DD(2) and (DS) 8 months as a last minute trip. We're celebrating our family being complete and a brand new year (after a very hard one). We'll be staying at the All Star Music Jan 24-29. I'm sooo excited I can't even see straight especially because they just released the gift card package. Anyone have any ideas for my 2 yr old who loves princesses?

My second mailing of the ME tix came yesterday and DBf got the mail before me! It was with the rest of the mail and he was busy doing other stuff when I got home so he didn't say anything about it. Here's hoping he thought it was junk mail or just a promo. If he saw the ME in the return address he may have questioned it but he never said anything. So I'll live in my fantasy that he still does not know about the trip. Only two days til the reveal! The suspense has been killing me!

Hello! I have a 2 year old princess as well. We are definitly going to meet Tinkerbell at the Magic Kingdom. Also, we have reservation for the Princess Breakfast in Norway (EPCOT) and breakfast with the Little Einsteins in the Studios. We are super excited for her to see the parades and fireworks too! ENJOY!!!

Just realized last week (when I read that everyone else was receiving their ME packages) that I forgot to sign us up for ME. I called Tuesday or Wednesday and received them yesterday!! For trip starting 1/9. Yippee!

But I did not receive an email for photopass... Maybe because I booked through a TA??

Countdown begins, but I am still trying to finish preparing for Christmas!

YIPPEEEEE... I received my photopass discount email today! The email was titled "Disney Vacation Must Sees for the ___ Family" and the photopass details can be found way toward the bottom of the page!

This is what we are waiting for.
Only available if you booked through Disney direct (not a TA). I was told I should receive it as I meet all the criteria, and they did tell me it was hidden way at the bottom!
But you're leaving after all of us, so we should have got it already!

We got the photopass on our last trip. It was great over 150 pictures, I snagged every photographer I saw. My DH groaned while doing it, but he loved it later. We can't do the PP this time because we belong to DVC , I was very disappointed. Oh well.

Not much longer until our 1/9 surprise trip. We have never been in Jan. looking forward to it!!

I was so excited to see the words "Disney Destinations".
More pixie dust ! maybe that will help get the magic here!

But to the left of that was a little blurb on saving money on photopass. It did not actually say $99 photopass CD until you clicked on the link. I received the email 27 days before my trip if it helps.

Just curious, why can't you do the pp if you're DVC? You mean you can't get the $99 CD offer?

Thank you - I am loving everyone sharing this information. The email is suppose to disucss the must sees while on your trip. I'll go back and have a look, but the email I received have anything about photopass! 27 days out, so there is hope for me yet! They must know will spend the money, so why offer me a discount -

I am not sure if you are getting a deal seeing as the mods are 140.00 per night and the WL is listed at 240.00 per night.
But I would definitly take the upgrade if I could,the way i see it,I'm on vacation and should sleep well in a queen size bed and stay in a great resort,after all when else do we really pamper ourselves?

No great comments to make here....just wanted to share in the excitement of a looming trip to WDW....11 days, I think. We're expecting a foot of snow here in Wisconsin, so Fla will be a welcome respite.

I too am bummed that I cannot take advantage of the preorder for the Photopass CD. DVC'er as well. I have 5 CD's for the past 5 trips. I love them. Well guess I will have to pay full price.....

But on the upside.....the Limited Edition Snow White dress from the Disney Store this Summer....my store had one left, in my daughter's size and on sale 40% off with an additional $10 off coupon......Oh Yeah!! ....bought and bagged baby!!. Katiebug will look so beautiful for our lunch in the Castle.....

So did anyone have this conversation lately....."Really? Christmas is THIS week. I had no idea....well maybe I should go shopping...but who has the time, when I have park schedules to color code, ADR's to review, poor over the Allears menus again for the umpteenth time, Magical express packets to deliver, group t-shirts to coordinate...." Who can think about Christmas, when there is WDW to stress over.....
