yep, at least the kids are in the pool, their mom is in the hottub with a cocktail, lol!

I am sure you Canadians are wonderfully "warm" people, but us new england crazies will be in the pool and hot tubs with you too!!!! Florida is MUCH warmer than "home"!

Sadly, I think that home for us (Southern California) is much warmer than Florida will be in January... look for the group of people huddling in sweaters and hats--that'll be us!

I'm in SC and we're in the 40s right now. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I have a feeling that I'll be packing a lot of everything - shorts & pants. Long sleeves & short. Flip flops and socks. Etc... Good thing we can drive now and aren't flying.

I can't wait to start using our 4-weeks to go countdown calendar on Sunday!!!!

What is the deal with preordering the PhotoPass CD now? Can I get a discount if I buy it ahead of time like I used to be able to do? If so, can someone give me an idea of what I need to do?

Now you need to get an email with a special offer. IT comes from Disney Destinations and says something about Blank for the _______ family. Down near the bottom there is a link to photopass and from there you can order the CD for $99. We got it about 35-45 days before our arrival date.

I just saw a thread somewhere that stated that Canadians are poised to take over the #1 slot of International visitors to WDW!!! We are beating out even the Europeans who visit!

I just tell everybody that we are going to get our annual dose of Vitamin D!

Canadians at WDW are the BEST!!!

I love it - it's a vacation for medicinal purposes!! Can I be an honorary Canadian? A lot of people think I live there already! I wish I could go back in January, and February, and March... I shouldn't whine, I was just there!

Hmm! Good to know, but we're 29 days out and I haven't received anything from them. I'll have to double check and hopefully figure this out because I really want to order the CD (but would rather not pay full price!).

I'm with Silly Yankee and the Candians...it's been in the teens here this week with wind chills close to zero! I've even been considering Typhoon Lagoon if it's close to 80! LOL If nothing else, we'll be in the hot tub with a cocktail too! By the way, Silly, you're going to get it much worse than me for once on Sat night/Sun morning. I'm at the 8 inch cut off and you're well over 12 inches! I don't envy you!! (But of course our snowblower is in the shop!)

I'm glad you got it!! It's my understanding that if you are staying on site, you get the offer. I'm editing my pictures right now!! (Multi-tasking!)

It really depends on rather or not you like/want the pictures that are taken by the photopass photographers. If you plan to purchase more than a couple of them then the photopass special for $99 is worth it. You can get some great pictures for a decent price by buying the CD. You can have the prints made anywhere at a much better price because they will charge about $20 for one 8 x 10 if you buy directly from the photopass site (without the CD). It is especially worth it if you are going with a group and can share the cost of the CD.
