January 2009

The Toy Story musical looks like a lot of fun!! I want to go on a cruise for our next vacation.

Can't wait to hear about Pirate Nightpirate: We are planning on dressing as a pirate family for the MNSSHP in October. I am looking forward to seeing what you wear for the Pirate Night Festivities.

I love the hair accessory!
((I'm hopping up on my pedantic stool, just a moment)) That device is known as a "crumber," or lazy butler. My mom wanted one last Christmas, and she uses it frequently.

Ok I think this is the one time that I wished I could get a FULL PHOTO of that outfit. The feathers are fabulous!! Oh what shoes did you wear? I must applaud your sense of style! I LOVE it!

I was really pleased with how it came out. Not too over-the-top, but fabulous all the same! :rotfl:

Not fabulous.... ultra-fabulous!! The hairpiece really makes the outfit!!

Sorry about your soup! It sounded yummy!

The party sounds like fun... I'm looking forward to reading about it!

Urghh, you had to post a pic of the Mickey Bar didn't you!!!!!!!! ;)

Yum! They are my favorite! :thumbsup2

Great update! Your outfit was so cute!

wahoo finally caught up again!! :) Everything is so hectic and busy with trying to get ready for my trip to America in exactly a week today :) I love the feather in your hair and the soup looks really good :thumbsup2

I'm caught up after my vacation! Yay!

I love your feather hairdo, it's so cute! I would never think to do anything like that but it's awesome.

What a bummer Atlantis was so confusing, I've always wanted to go there.

I really want to go on a Disney Cruise more than ever now, I love that they have a Toy Story show! How neat!

I wonder if they hide away the character CM's so they won't be recognized when they are out of character. :rotfl2:

The food all looks really yummy! I was showing my husband last night and he couldn't believe compared to what we had on our non-Disney cruise. But we did have those annoying crumb thingys on our cruise! It was so annoying and I really did feel like they invaded your personal space! I started to clear off my crumbs myself before they came around. :rotfl:

Loving your report. I stumbled across one a couple years ago and my desire to keep reading it was why I finally joined DIS.

I had to laugh when I saw your towel animals - when I first saw it, I thought the monkey was a Davey Jones in honor of Pirate night. His arms kinda look like his hat, and his legs look like the hint of some tentacles. Maybe it was all the Pirate Party Pics that made me think "Pirate" when I first saw it.....:confused3

That's one of the most creative towel animals I've yet to see! Looks just like Kaa from The Jungle Book!!

I feel your pain about the desserts... too bad they didn't live up to their looks. Oh well, just think of all the calories you avoided!!

Ed loved the video of Mickey doing the slide for life.... :thumbsup2

Pirate pirate: night looks like fun!

Too bad the deserts weren't good. Wasn't there something without whipped cream that was decent? How about some cheesecake? I can't stand whipped topping so I really know where you are coming from. I don't like cheap chocolate either. I guess I am a bit of a food snob. I love Endangered species chocolate and I only use Ghiradelli chocolate chips in my cookies. Nestle's chips have hydrogenated vegetable oil (yuck) in them.:headache:

Whoops, I better get off my soap box.

I think chips and guacamole sounds like a yummy choice.

I can't believe your cruise is almost over. :sad1:

Pirates night is a lot more fun on the four night and longer cruises as the party starts at dinner with a special menu and the dinning room staff dressed in pirate attire.

I love the towel animals! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get some on our trip. The Pirate party looks like a lot of fun. Too bad about the gross whipped topping again.

I love your trip report. I just read the whole thing. I feel like I am on your vacation with you. I now must go on a disney cruise! Can't wait to read about you last days.
