thanks!! I still lurk here from time to time...just don't post as much. When my trip gets closer I will be here all the time! I have 2 other non disney trips to do first.

Where are you going on your other 2 trips? We are going to take a short trip this summer, not sure where yet. . . I can't wait til it gets a little closer and we can start doing more planning for next January's WDW trip! Now if I could just find the right DVC person to rent me points at BCV!

When all else fails, ask the 2 year old. Belle chose POP by a show of emotions. She pumped her fist in the air and said "YEAH!" when I showed her the pool. She was so excited!

Right behind the main pool is a smaller children’s pool that has water jets that shoot up and our kids absolutely loved it. They would go from the main pool to the smaller pool on the way back to their room. The water spouts are pretty fun for adults too! They feel great on your feet after a long day in the parks.

Have any of you been on a trip to the Virgin Islands with children? I think that would be so beautiful and a vacation where you could truly rest and just have some great family time. Any one?

I tried to read your entire thread, but could only get through page 26. So I skipped to the end to just join in the chatting.

We are Cheryl 43, Eric 44, and Dustin 4. We've been married 7 years. We went to WDW 09/2006, but it was too dang hot....so we swore we'd only come back if it was a winter trip. So we are booked for Jan 2010. Yay. Planning to switch to a package later. We will be at WL for 5 nights.

Our trip report from 2006 is below. Our son was just 18 months old then. There's photos on the first 2 pages.

Congrats on booking your January 2010 trip! Our plan is Jan 23-31, 2010! Now if we could just make a definite decision on where to stay!

I'm going to be a December 2009 snowbird, but I'm still going to stay and hang with all of you. Whether you like it or not! No, you don't get to say no!
Never been to the Virgin Islands - would love to find out more. Of course, I want to go EVERYWHERE!! Lucky for me, so does my hubby! Unlucky for me, we aren't millionaires!
No sign of Carrie on any of the threads I've been reading.
Since my boss is on vacation for over a week, I've not got a lot of work to do in her absence. So guess what I've been doing? Poring over the DIS boards!! Reading lots of TRs and dining reviews. Plus listening to the DIS unplugged podcasts. It's quite fun.

Yesterday I "just happened" to mention to DH that at Disneyland Paris, you are still considered a child if you're under age 12 instead of age 10 as at WDW. So he said we'll definitely have to go before our oldest turns 12. Maybe around Memorial Day weekend of 2010--DS8 will turn 10 that weekend, and DS10 will turn 12 the following week. Maybe I should get a new ticker!

You're right, it's never too early to start planning for Disney!! Although now we can't make our January ADR's until October! That really stinks. I thought that 90 day thing was supposed to be temporary while they updated their system. What happened to that? It seems to have been made permanent. Along with only publishing the park hours at 90 days! Don't they know we like to plan way before that??? What ever will we do all summer if we can't make our ADR's?

Shelly-I didn't realize it was only 90 days!!!!! WOW. I will just build up pretend days and work out if it's going to be feasible....so now nothing is 180 days? Not even Cinderellas Castle?

Well, most of my research relates to the Christmas stuff at WDW. Plus I figured out that we're getting a better deal staying at BLT with 40% military discount and military tickets than if we got free dining. There was free dining for Visa cardholders last year at the time we're going this year, so I had to do some math. It really is only a good deal if you stay at value or sometimes moderate.

There is also a special grand gathering breakfast buffet, with characters, at Tony's in MK. It is only 1 TS on the DDP. We are thinking about that, but many of our group want to try CP since we gave them such raves after our last trip.
Apparently this week the crowds have been really big. They have closed the park to any new entrants at least two days that I've read. Note to self: don't go for spring break if it's near Easter! Which we would do, but now DH is talking Hawaii next year. We might have to take a year or two away from WDW!!! YIKES! Maybe we can add on a stop in LA and go to Disneyland!
BellaSoleil's TR is a lot of fun to read if you haven't gotten over there yet!! She's coming to the end now.

Where is JenJolt?? Hope Prince Phillip is okay!

I'm not sure about the castle. . . It may still be 180 days. Maybe someone else knows?
