DS7's class field trip was today and we went to Disney On Ice!!!

Hi everyone! Shelly- I love the Disney on Ice pics! We had so much fun when we saw it a few years ago. These past two weeks have been downright crazy for me. I stil can't believe it's March! We're heading into Syracuse today to see my grandfather. He's in the hospital since he was getting dehydrated and had lost quite a bit of weight. He's been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was getting a procedure done either yesterday or this morning to remove his gall bladder. It's very swollen and it's what's causing all of his pain and his loss of appetite. I hope that he's feeling better soon. Maddie made him a very beautiful and colorful get well card. She's such a sensitive little girl and I don't want her to get upset today.

Im still here, planning my May trip we are exaclty 2 months out. I am also working on some spring cleaning around my house!

Oh I forgot many of you are busy planning another trip back already!!! Lucky!!

We talked about talking a quick trip to WDW this summer but then decided we should just save the money so we can go deluxe next year!!


We will probably go somewhere this summer, just not sure where yet. . .

Wow spring cleaning - aren't you ambitious!! If I remember correctly you don't live all that far from here - so when you get done you can just come on over here and do my house!!

I'm still here! I've been so sick lately! I got some nasty viral thing - sore throat (not strep) ear aches - it's like cotton is in my ears!, stuffy nose, congestion, cough! I spent about 4 days resting on the couch! Still not even 75%, but back to work today.

On a brighter note, I have to make a change in my signature. Today is DD's 8th birthday!!! It's hard to believe that 8 years ago right now, I was being told, this baby will be born soon (she wasn't born until 2:50 p.m.)!!
We're going out to eat tonight with my family and having presents at Grandma and Papa's house. Then we have planned a slumber party on Saturday night. There will most likely be 9 girls including my two. I got my teenage neighbor to recruit some girlfriends and they are going to come and do hair and nail makeovers! Have to hit the dollar store at lunch and pick up some little toenail separators and hair clips etc. We also got little tote bags and fabric paint so they can decorate their own bags. Should be fun!
We have been reliving our trip a lot - DH made a video with our pictures and then one from our videos. I have to try to put the video of him dancing on the cruise on youtube! If I do, I'll post the link here!!
We're still looking at going right after Thanksgiving. Now we have next year's school calendar and I think we can do about 4 days at WDW and a 3 day cruise and only miss 4 days of school.
Meghan - I hope your visit to your grandfather went well. He's in my prayers, as are you and your family!

Sorry you aren't feeling so well. I had that last week but am feeling much better now.

Happy Birthday to your DD! Sounds like some fun things you have planned for her! My DS9 turns 10 next month and we have rented the pool at a local hotel for his party. He is very excited!!

Yeah I am bit ambitious, but this is the first real day off I have been at home for, I have been visiting with my mom on all of the others so I need to pay some attention to my own home....soon I want to start painting and really decorating so my apartment feels more like home than an apartment!

Hello there Snowbirds. I haven't been around much lately, work has been insane.

I've been going through my pictures with my brother since he is making a video of them, and I think I've finally narrowed down my favorite ones! There are a bunch that I want to try and blow up and put in frames, I just need to figure out if that's a "priority" or if it can wait.

Also, my sister and I are trying to plan our trip to Europe. I think we have pretty much decided that we are going to do an England/Scotland/Ireland trip. (My sister maintains this will be nice because we won't have to learn another language.) She has however promised me that at the end of our trip we will take at least 3 days and go to DisneyLand Paris!!!!!! That makes me a happy girl!

Anywho...hope everyone is doing ok. Prayers being said for those whose family members are hurting.


**Also, we had major snow last night...but it basically all melted today...this is such a strange time of year....but I'm thrilled for spring!**
