Hi Snowbirds. I come to you with sad news. My great aunt passed away today. She's been in a nursing home for a little less than a year now. She turned 85 in November and loved playing the Wii. Not to keep giving you bad news, but on Monday I found out my grandfather has cancer. If you could please keep my family in your prayers, I'd really appreciate it.

Meghan, I am sorry for your loss, and we will definitely be praying for you grandfather.

OMG-After 20 minutes, I get transfered to the Escrow Dept and my call gets disconnected!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I call back and it took another 20 minutes for them to put a dispute on the acct to find out where my money is!! UGH!!! At least they said I could make the lower payment until "they" figure out the problem! I have a headache.

Sounds like what we want through with Wells Fargo one time. It was a couple of years ago, but one of our payments was cashed and just disappeared. They called us saying they did not receive a payment and we were like Funny thing was we had proved they cashed the check, but they kept saying we did not receive it. Ok, well what did you do with it? They kept saying we were behind a payment and wanted us to pay a whole payment to them, when we had a check showing we paid and they deposited.
It was a real pain.We never was told the details where it went to, but it took months to clear up. My Sister told me one time, she had a payment on her account that she did not pay. She called them and they said well someone paid to your account. It was never removed. She said well I was honest with them. She thinks that is what happened; they deposit it into the wrong account.

Words can't express how touched I am by all of your kind words. Thank you all. I won't be heading into Syracuse until Sunday, so to cheer myself up, I updated my TR. Thinking of WDW can always put me in a better mood.

thanks for the idea - there are a lot on ebay! I wish I could remember how much they cost at the parks. They're around $20- 25 on eBay. I could just wait to add the soundtrack until I go back in November and buy them all! But I want to listen to the music now!
Maybe I'll check with my local Disney store.

Also, half.com - lots of used items and $4 shipping.

Tonight I clicked my heels 3x in the shower and wished to be back in WDW (while smelling the last of my Mickey CBR hotel shampoo) and when I opened my eyes I was still home. Can't blame a girl for tryin'

My baby turns 2 tomorrow and we were talking about what we should do together Saturday to celebrate. DH asked if we should go somewhere special and fun and DS quickly replied that we should go to Disney World for her birthday just like we did for Daddy's birthday. Oh how I wish!

Hi everyone! Well we survived the big mess of a snowstorm yesterday. Got about 6", but I had to drive home from work in it. Scariest thing in my life!
It usually takes me a 1/2 hour, it took twice that. I left in the middle of the day, and it was coming down SO HARD! Snowing, blowing, couldn't see 10 feet in front of me, not sure if I was even on the right side of the road unless a car was coming! I was praying the whole way (alternating with a few choice "Oh (&#$#$"s ). I was sort of stuck on a hill and kept spinning my wheels, turning the steering wheel - that took about 10 extra minutes, had to stop 2 times and clean the ice off my wipers. Then I wasn't sure if I could get going again! The plows just weren't out soon enough. By dinner time, they were out and it was much better. But Oh my! That was crazy! I probably should have sat at work til about 6. Glad that's over. Now it's just cold again. So much for giving up winter for Lent.

Ironically, today is "Beach Day" at my kids school, so DD7 had to bring her flip flops and wear her Castaway Cay t-shirt!
I hope all of you are having a good Friday!! I have to go pick up about 1500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this afternoon and start sorting them in my garage! Pretty good sales for a troop with only 6 girls!

One last question - for a TR - how do you start it and put the link in your signature? Do you just start a new thread? I guess I need a tutorial!

You go to the Trip Reports forum and start a new thread.

Once you get it started just highlight the link at the top of the page (in your browser) and copy & paste it to your signature.
