Shelly - thanks for Columbia's menu - I'm planning to get some clam chowder there this trip!! Have you done all the DTD restaurants?

You're welcome! :goodvibes Hmm. . . I think I have done quite a few of the DTD restaurants. . . I will check the list though, I'm sure I haven't done them all!

Why does it seem I get more done on my day off than a day at work??????

Electricity is fixed
Tree is up
Decorated the living room
Dishes are done
Just made my final exam
Called the sub, kids are being good (YAY!!)
Watched Touched by an Angel and I cried....

Just all in one morning before lunch...WOW!!!

Now to wrap presents and finish up Christmas cards!

Has there been a decided CBR meet yet? Or should we all just say hello in the food court each morning? :wave2:

I'm still working on it. . . I am going to look over my schedule again and PM all of you CBR Snowbirds and see if we can come up with something that will work for us! :goodvibes

QOTD: I love, love, LOVE A Christmas Story with Ralphie. I also love Mickey's Christmas Carol. They used to play it on tv but I haven't seen it in some time. I had the record when I was little . . .

Back from my errands and I didn't freeze to death! I mailed my Christmas cards today, so that made me happy. I'm still on the hunt for the best bargains for that darn Nintendo DS. Toys r us had a decent sale on the games, but they were wiped out!

QOTD- I do love all of the classics (Rudolph, Frosty, Miracle on 34th Street, etc). I'm also a huge fan of The Santa Clause with Tim Allen. So funny! By far, my favorite newer Christmas movie is Elf. Will Ferrell is my favorite actor! My DD watches that movie year round because she loves it so much. We've been tivoing (I know, it's not a real word but it is in our house!) all of the Christmas movies on tv lately. It's so nice to snuggle up with a blanket, turn the lights off so just the Christmas tree is lit up, and watch a Christmas movie.

AWWW! That sounds so nice!!:santa:

Yes it is! I keep popping back over from my work and checking. I'm hoping to sneak out early today and stop to shop for one more gift for DD5. I got DD7 a little wallet with her initial on it. I want to put their Disney gift cards in the wallets. DD5 was with me when I bought it and they didn't have one with a P on it anyway. I thought I'd look at Claire's and see if they had anything cute.

Haha, I've been busy having one of those Important Conversations with a friend, where he dumped on me before going to lunch that his g.f. thinks I'm jealous that he's living with her and not me. LOLWUT. I didn't like her anyway, but I'd not told him any such thing. Now I really don't like her.

Plus, I've been getting passive-aggressive emails from my mom all day about the holidays...

... and I think I finally have a sinus infection. I should maybe have just stayed in bed today?

Okay could be Disney related...might not be....but QOTD: Your favorite Christmas Movie/TV Show?? (have we done this yet...I can't remember). Right now I'm watching Once upon a Mickey Christmas on the Disney Channel...but I have to admit to you all the one Christmas movie that I simply love is A Muppets Christmas Carol..makes me laugh and cry all in one movie!!!

I know Charlie Brown Christmas is on tonight...so those of you who love that one set those DVRs!

OH IT IS? Oh I hope I don't forget!!! That's probably one of my favorites. But my only favorite? I don't know!!

Stay in bed and screen your calls, and don't check your email!!

We can remind you later about Charlie Brown so you don't forget. You just have to be on DIS!! :)

Well I just typed up all our reservation numbers for hotels and adr's. Now it's all nice and organized. I even put all our flight info on it too so we can just send that out to my aunt/uncle so they have all that info.

So now I'm just sitting here putting off my Christmas cards. :rolleyes1

Me too...Oh I really should be working on them UGHH!!!!

I need to print out my rental car info and another copy of my itinerary! I got a better deal from Budget auto...for $190/week for an intermediate...so excited..more room for souvenirs!

Well, my boss is done for the day, and it's snowing here, but not up where I live, so I am going to leave work early (Shh) and stop to try to find another gift! I'll see you all tonight!

Don't forget about Charlie Brown!!:santa:

Hi snow feather friends. :scared: Too cold for me, I am ready to move to the sunshine state. I am ready to sell this house and buy a house with a cute southern porch. I really can not take this cold here in Pa. anymore. I hate it!

QOTD: It’s a Wonderful Life. I watched it for the first time in 1996!
I was up late wrapping presents and feel in love with it.
I want around telling everyone have you seen this movie, and they would look at me like I was from a different planet. Anyway, I finally got DH to watch it about seven years ago, and for the last three years we MAKE DD AND DS watched it with us. :rotfl:
I also love all the cartoon Christmas shows and Elf is my new all time favorite....candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup! I wonder if Buddy has seen It’s a Wonderful Life yet?
Hope everyone is keeping warm, I came home from work and grabbed a hot cup of tea.

Wow. It really is quiet in here this afternoon. I have to help my DD practice her Irish dancing. She didn't have class last week and she hasn't been practicing. I guess being a dance teacher, I pick the steps up pretty well just by watching through the window! I'm learning Irish dance without even taking a class!

Well, unlucky for me DH's hospital is 40 minutes away and he was making rounds when he realized the carseat was with him! He came home after that and now we are here. I felt so bad making him leave patients.

I had to stop at McDonalds and get a biscuit and a sweet tea to calm my nerves!

:rotfl: And you deserved it! :rotfl:
That's happened to us ONCE that I can remember and I think my hubby had to get the neighbors car seat so he could get him to daycare and hubby could get to work. After that we bought an extra. I think in my ownership right now we have 5-one's a punkin seat so it's WAY too small for my boys.

Okay could be Disney related...might not be....but QOTD: Your favorite Christmas Movie/TV Show??

Dh and I were just talking about this last night. We have to...HAVE TO...watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles! That is just for us..to much adult humor for the kiddies! Now with the kids in the room we watch ELF....Heck we watch that year round! DD knows every single line and will drive us crazy saying "oh, watch this...this is funny" About 250 times during the movie!:lmao:

My DD has been in a waffle eating mood lately. Every time she says how much she loves syrup, we call her Buddy the Elf! She thinks it's so funny!

We got Magical mail today! DH opened it and said it was ME tickets :smickey: and tags. As well as vouchers etc.

I assume our tickets will be given to us with our room keys like last time?:tinker:

OMG 38 DAYS I have TOOOOOOOOO much to do for 38 days , especially with Christmas mixed in!
Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to plan I go.....
