Haven't done Nemo, but FOTLK is amazing! I'm a big theater fan (saw LK on Broadway twice), and I was blown away by the dance, the costuming, the puppetry at AK. I am determined to see Nemo this time (it wasn't there yet last time we went)!
Awesome! Thanks for this. We saw LK in Toronto (of all places... but it's the same distance as Chicago and, at the time, cheaper*) and I thought it was AMAZING. I've been wondering how FOTLK holds up in comparison and if it was worth it, after seeing the broadway version.
*the real humor is that when we got to Toronto for that trip, and we were touring all over, we immediately discovered that the middle school we lived closest to (in our apartment) was doing a class trip there, as well. CN Tower? Yup, there they were. Casa Loma? You betcha! Lion King? Yeah, in the same section, some in the same row. I COULD NOT ESCAPE ANN ARBOR.
Good afternoon everyone. I'm back from work and I really should have called in sick today. I woke up with THE worst sore throat ever. I could hardly swallow! I just ate a bowl of condensed soup (not my fav), but my DH said he would make his all-curing homemade chicken noodle soup for me tonight. He's just the greatest!Time for me to get some rest so I can go dance tonight!
Awww! I hope you and crazyred both feel better soon!!!
I'm mending... today I was only really really tired. Yesterday it was really really tired and very sore. Definite progress! OF course, tomorrow is a girl's night out and I hope I can handle it. I'd asked for a half-day vacation since one of the girl's is driving in from Chicago and I wanted to take the time off if she got in early enough... well, she's not. I'm thinking I should take the half day to go home and rest. This week, it's been: work till nearly 5, go home, fall asleep for awhile, sit around like a zombie, go to bed. So the idea of working until 5, waiting for my friend to turn up, go to dinner at 6:45, see a 9:45 movie seems very daunting!!
But it's for a good cause. I did a cheer today when I realized that things ARE better already, thanks to Mr. Surgery! I might be tired and sore but I know there's improvement.
Those of us going the week before MLK - the 11-17th. We ought to see if we want to organize a gathering? Two of us are in the same resort, two of us are dealing with the same type of surgery/recovery... I think we ought to TRY!
