Here in Michigan, in January, I don't want to deal with non-covered parking in January! Finding my car and then digging it out is always kind of a pain, especially after coming back from Florida. The off-sites and the remote lots for the airport are all about the same, $8-$10/day, but in the winter, I'll pay someone else to take care of me. Also means I don't have to worry about pulling in to my driveway when we get back! ;)

In January, I'll keep my car in a garage so I don't have to worry about snow!! But we're 18 miles from the airport (and our flight leaves REALLY late, whereas your's is REALLY REALLY early!) so it's No Big Deal to get a taxi. And keeping all the local dudes in business!

Ahh! finally a perk for living in humid and sweaty Houston.....no digging your car out of snow! :thumbsup2 yeah.... that could bring your vacation good feelings to a crashing end! :sad2:

I thought about a sky cab but....I have DS who still uses a car seat. He is almost 3 and is 39.5" tall and weighs about 35lbs. While in Disney we only use the bus service and don't have to worry about car seats. I guess I could switch him to a portable booster and take that with us on the plane. I just didn't want to lug a full sized car seat into a sky cab and then through an airport and back again.

Okay just even thinking about not having him in full carseat gives me sweaty hands! Ahh! carseats just one more item to pack! What are all you parents of little ones who are flying doing with car seats?

I'll help trying to get to 100!

Good morning all! I see I don't have to go searching the web yet for my codes. Thanks for checking for me! :)

Ok, we're at 100. Party time!!
 :rockband: party: party: :rockband:

Oh, and I'm at the TWO MONTH MARK TODAY!!

DH and I flew from Arizona into South Bend during a blizzard one time. We left 112 beautiful degrees and came back to a car covered in about 18 inches of snow, and highways that weren't plowed. It was snowing so hard that it was actually safer for us to drive without headlights! We kept saying that we'd stop at the next exit and just get a hotel, but it kept getting better and better. By the time we were about 1/2 hour south of our house, there wasn't ANY snow on the ground. You just never know around here!

Does anyone think that Disney is waiting until after the election to finalize their 2009 codes/pins???

That's a really good thought! :scratchin

Good Morning Snowbirds!!!:goodvibes WOW!!! I will have to spend the afternoon going back and trying to catch up!!! AMAZING--I guess ya'll had a good weekend!!! Did anything come up that is of immediate concern? I really am gonna have to carve out a few hours tonight and read!!! Hope ya'll had a good weekend and lots of fun Trick or Treating!!! I checked MouseSavers and we still don't have codes...right?

I missed you all!!!!

Good morning everyone!

Sorry for those of you waiting for codes. Hang in there.

I'm off to shower quick. Then I'll talk more during breakfast!:rotfl:

HI guys...Hope everyone had a great weekend! Lots of Trick or Treaters...how about with you guys? I am so excited about my Disney trip. I can't wait!

I haven't eaten at Whispering Canyon in years! I so want to go back, but we have almost all our ressies in the MK region and I do not know where to squeeze it in!

Is the a QOTD? How about what is your favorite Disney tradition? Something you always do?

That's a really good thought! :scratchin

I was thinking that maybe they want to wait until it's over because everyone is so consumed with it right now. . . OR maybe they are waiting to see which way it goes and how they think the economy is going to go. . .

I'm probably way over-thinking this! :rotfl:

We missed you too! :grouphug:

So did I!!
Today I'm off work, because I have to take my mother for minor surgery; she goes into the hospital today and has surgery tomorrow. Of course, to the doctor it's minor, but when you're over 80 years old, not much is really minor. So tomorrow, election day, I get to wait not just to see who's the next President, but how Mom's doing.

Please keep her in your thoughts!
Hoping all goes well and keeping you all in my thoughts.:flower3:
Haven't seen any codes for my snowbird friends yet this morning.... what are they waiting for....
That's what I'd like to know. People are going to have to make some final payments soon. It's really weird they still have the Halloween offers up too.:confused3
Does anyone think that Disney is waiting until after the election to finalize their 2009 codes/pins???
Hmmmm. :confused3 Makes you wonder.

I guess we'll just keep being obsessive compulsive codes watchers until something comes out. Good thing I have to get up early anyway. I know some people that are central and west coast have to are rising and shining WAY early just to check. :sad2:

On the day we open MK we always go straight for Fantasyland. . . To Peter Pan's Flight and It's a Small World. . . In May as we were all heading there I said to DH - why are we going here first? And he said - I don't know, I guess it's just tradition! :rotfl:

I guess in my mind I just can't justify waiting hours for those rides in Fantasyland later in the day ( those lines get huge ), so we go their first! :goodvibes And then we go wait in long lines for more thrilling rides later! :lmao:
