Good morning Snowbirds! Off to work for me this morning. Hope that you all have a wonderful day!

Funny thought - Shelly, when I read the French menu, I saw Poissons and I couldn't help but break out into Le Poissons, Le Poissons from the Little Mermaid!!! LOVE IT! :)

Gooooood Mornin' to all snowbirds on this fine fall day! :cool1: We are supposed to have a high of 16 C today! :) CONGRATULATIONS to all Phillies fans! I heard the good news on the radio this morning! :thumbsup2 Hope all have a wonderful Day! Another busy day for me - I'll try to check in later! Off to take my DD7 to school! It's -3 right now! "...hee, hee, hee, haw, haw, haw..." :lmao:

I think the same thing every time I look at that menu!

Go Phillies! (Saying that still makes me want a philly cheesesteak sandwich!)

Goodnight everyone!

mmm. Philly cheesesteaks. I've never understood why I can't get one here in Michigan when I could in Boston.

*adds it to the list of foods she must eat while home next week*

And YAY Chefs de France menu. That looks so very very VERY good. I can't wait - we have our ressie!!

And I'm throwing myself a party. Y'all are welcome... I can eat again without getting sick! My stomach bug has passed!!

:cool1:  :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :yay: :yay: :woohoo: :dance3:  :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :dance3: :dance3: :yay: :yay: :woohoo: :woohoo:  :cool1:

Just in time for Halloween, of course!! Funny how that works! :rotfl:

Whatever it takes, I guess.

Plus I have to give My Very First Presentation today. I'm glad my stomach is settled, because nerves + stomach bug could = disaster. Happy to be disaster free at the moment!

Here's my updated countdown:
10/31: Halloween! Hockey!
11/1: more hockey!
11/3: pre-op (eek!)
11/6: fly home. Eat clam chowdah and cheesesteaks. Plus fried Chinese food I can't find here and my mom's beef stew.
11/9: apparently get rolled on to the plane by my DH after a weekend of eating (bwhahaha)
11/14: surgery!
11/15: my cross-stitch store is having their November sale. How unfair is THAT!?!
11/21: see the Twilight movie
11/27: Thanksgiving
12/1: silly grant deadlines, thus preventing me from seeing Disney at Christmas. ;(
12/24: workplace closes up at 5pm!
12/25: Christmas with my DH only.
12/31: pretend to party for New Years
1/2: work re-opens, alas
1/4: I'm 32! WOOHOO!
1/9: bye Michigan, hi Disney!
1/11: Run, DH! RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!... for 26 miles.

Oh, man. I have a case of the sillies today. :rolleyes1

Awwww! I feel like a kid who got nothing on Christmas! I got up this morning and fed DD, made her lunch, got DS's snacks ready for the party at his preschool, rushed dd out the door to the bus, ran back in and sat down at the computer.....butterflies swirling in my stomach.....pulled up the Dis and the Disney site and ......nothing! Whaaah!

Oh well that just means I get to rinse, lather, repeat tomorrow.

I'm off to a preschool party.

We just finished watching Tinkerbell for the first time!!! My daughter loves the beginning when the baby giggles. It was a really sweet movie, although I think I liked it more than my kids! Perhaps it will have to be added to Santa's list now.

My stomach bug has passed!!

A very big case of the sillies- but I think you deserve to have some giggles after last week! :cool1: I love the crosstitch one- perhaps they would be willing to reschedule your surgery til the day after the sale. :rotfl: Glad you're feeling better!

I'm here! Ready for another fun day with the Snowbirds.

Belle and I spent the night at my parents last night. (They kept her, while I was serving at a church dinner.) I get so spoiled at my parents. They put DD to sleep, feed and cloth her in the morning. I got to take a long, wonderful bath and get in peace. Plus, mom sent me off with a cup of the best hot tea.:cloud9:

Awwww how sweet of your mommy! No matter how old you get it's still nice having a mom that takes care of you!

Mmmmm a cup of hot tea sounds nice! Think I'll go make one. Perhaps it will help make me less grumpy about the codes not being out yet.

Did someone say cooking Donald?
Now I understand there may be some no-code rebellions starting out there, but ladies let's stay civil! :rotfl:

Anyway's Morning All!
Just stopping by on my way into the city, hope everyone is having a good morning!

Being the sportspobeic that I am, I believe there was some major sporting event last night, so for those who are happy about it, YAY?:cheer2:

And I'm with you on the sports thing too- I had no idea the World Series was on until I heard about it on here! :upsidedow

Thank you for that information. We too were thinking of upgrading to an AP for all.

Does anyone know what happens when a child turns into an adult rate mid-AP? My DD is 9 now but will be turning 10 this year. We might consider this if she can still use it.

We were shying away from doing APs as not only their expense but also the in-laws talk the talk of a Disney trip but thus far have backed out of this January trip and not made a decision for Fall 2009. I do like the fact you could potentially book it as AP but if for whatever reason it isn't a go, you would just pay the difference.

Wow one more thing to start thinking about again!

I'm pretty sure they can keep the same AP for the whole year, just like if a child turns 10 mid trip, or 3 mid trip, you don't have to pay more for their tickets.

Code Rebellion...keep calm everyone...maybe if they don't come out tomorrow. pirate:

Congrats to the Philies fans...:cheer2:

I don't have to baby-sit tomorrow...so maybe that means they will come tomorrow, then I can sit on the computer and call my TA and get FREE DINING (hopefully). :woohoo:

Here's my countdown till Disney:

10/31 HALLOWEEN
11/1 Start Christmas wrapping
11/8 - 9 Sorority meeting (I'm an advisor)
11/22 - Craft Show at DLS school
11/22 -23 Craft weekend at the Lodge
11/27 - THANKSGIVING
12/6 - DLS Christmas Dance recital
12/14 - Family Christmas Exchange
12/17 - Calculus final & Grandma B-day
12/19 - Dinner for Grandma B-day
12/21 - Start cooking baking
12/24 - Christmas Eve
12/25 - Christmas Day
12/26 - Leave for Tennessee (Red Wings vs. Nashville game)
12/27 - DOS b-day
12/31 - New Year's Eve party
1/1 - Red Wings vs. Blackhawks @ Wrigley Field
1/3 - Come home
1/10 - Cousin's b-day party
1/11 - Hairspray with Mom and sisters
1/16 - DISNEY

Oooooh... in all that trying to catch up I forgot to bring you all in on my news, so you can all Party with me!

My TA applied the AP discount to my room and my new balance is only

$1508.67

She said it went down from $3543.75, but that's not necessarily true, because that was when it was still booked on last year's peak rate, but it makes a pretty picture!:flower3:
