Thanks for the advice! I talked to my DH and I guess we are going to wait to see if we can get a good discount. If not I think we will switch to CBR. I guess it doesn't really matter where we stay - WE WILL BE IN WDW

DH and I were just talking about that the other night - if a really good discount were to come out would we upgrade to a deluxe. We thought about it for like a second and realized that we don't want to stay anywhere else!

Good evening My lovely Snowbird friends!

I come to you this evening with a bit of a tragedy that has befallen our family. It seems as though our cat has disappeared She is an 11yr old black short hair cat and has been an indoor cat her entire life!!

I am very sorry about your cat. I will be praying for your DD's. That's got to be very hard on them. Our dog is 12 so the kids have never known life without him, it's going to be so hard on the boys when he is no longer with us.

Not eating, getting sick frequently and being snarly with the kids. I could tell she wasn't well.

Awww, sorry to hear about your cat. I believe that cats know when their time is up and it's quite possible she did, too. Growing up, we knew when our cats went into hiding, well... (and, oddly, the last time that happened, my mom called the vet to make The Appointment and the cat immediately came out of hiding and sat by her carrier. That was heart breaking. That was also the day I decided I'd marry my DH since he comforted me all night!) I hope you and your kids will do okay if your cat doesn't come home.

Friday, finally - woohoo! I'm now just a hair over 72 hours until I see my surgeon and a decision is made about my surgery. Which is a good thing, because everything my husband and I discuss is ended with the "well, we'll make a decision on Monday." Everything from selling our hockey tickets on the day of my surgery (one or both?), him attending a few 10 hour training sessions the week after surgery, to work - due dates for me and classes I've signed up for!

My DH is kind of reading the Disney running forum, for the marathon, but he says "I can't drink that much Disney Kool-Aid!"

Shelly, thank you for posting the menu for Cooke's. That settles it, if it is on the DP, we are going there. I know DH wanted to try Earl of Sandwich but that one sounds so much better to us.

Does anyone know if they updated the DP list? When I called up for my ADRs we booked Yak and Yeti but according to the list at that time, it wasn't on the plan. The CM did say to me it would cost us a credit, so I was thinking that it might be just a matter of time before it would be put on the plan. I also wish to make certain all my 1 credit meals stay 1 credit.

I'm now thinking about Cooke's too. We would have to give up Wolfgang Puck Express. But we like to try new things.

The last time I looked at the DDP list there was hardly anything on it at DTD. And none of the not Disney owned restaurants were on it. I think someone said that they usually have it all figured out by November. . .

Good morning everyone! Well, my DD has no school today so we got to sleep in a little bit. She's getting her picture taken today at 10:30 (I never like how school pictures turn out) and then we're getting lunch with my big sis! I haven't seen her since she's been back from her honeymoon. She said she has lots of pictures of Aruba! I can't wait to see them. I hope that everyone has a fantastic Friday and I'll be back later!

Good Morning Snowbirds!

I'm supposed to be working (gasp!), but I hurt my back this morning while I was dropping DDs off at school. Exactly how I don't know. I must have just turned funny and pulled something out of whack between my shoulder blades. So I took lots of ibuprofen and am doing ice on and off. But rats! I have too much stuff to do to be hurting, you know? I have to get 9 carved pumpkins back to school by 3:00 for DDs' "Harvest Blessings" fall festival this evening. Don't quite know how I'm going to manage that, yet.

So this Cooke's of Dublin is a CS version of Raglan Road? I didn't know it even existed. How is that possible? Is it right near RR?

Northern Disney Girl~ I have heard that animals will wander off like that and find a place to....go to rest. I am soooo sorry for your girls. I will pray for them. But, at least they didn't have to know about putting her to sleep or anything like that. We have always had trouble finding a good dog---people would say, oh, I have this dog that would be perfect for ya'll-- NOT. couldn't be housetrained, snapped at the kids, ran away, Finally we got a collie---perfect dog, house trained, great with the kids!! let her out one day and someone stole her My kids were sick. Anyway, I said no more of this, so we were going to get a humane society dog-picked her out, got her fixed, brought her home---she kept getting hotter, and quieter-took her to the vet that Monday & he said, you got a 'bad' dog, she had dystemper, took her back and the HS had to put her to sleep.

So...I finally just told the kids we would have to pray about it and if God wanted them to have a dog, He'ld send it. WELL. Lo and behold-I found out about a weeine (mix-but shelooks weeinie) that someone had dumped ---She's perfect!!! She was potty trained, sweet, humble--she has been the biggest blessing to our family-last month was 2 years!!! All that to say, If we lost her, I don't know what my kids would think!!!

It's crazy how much they really become part of your family. I must say I have never loved a dog more than our little Annie!!!

I had someone from work call me last night to see if I could switch some hours with them, so I don't work today, tomorrow or Sunday....what will I do with all my free time?!?!

Of course today it's chiropractor and other random appointments this morning with my grandma, which means, she'll buy me lunch!!
