I just changed our reservation from a 5 day to a 6 day park hopper. It changed my balance by $6.80. That doesn't sound right, but I'm not complaing.

:cool1: More Disney days! :cool1:
I think the price sounds right...once you get beyond 4 or 5 days, it's only a couple dollars per day for each one you add.

I checked the WDW website and it shows a difference of $6.00 before tax. You really do save the longer you "play".;)

It's crazy! We went back and forth over adding a 6th day "just in case" - and finally gave in. The cost was so little!

We arrive (assuming not flight changes/delays/airline suddenly stopping operations like last time!) around noon and I'm guessing we'll get to the resort around 2 or so. We have dinner reservations at The Wave at 7 (although I'm still waffling on that one...). I can't figure out what we'll do that afternoon - maybe just explore the WL or maybe hit the Magic Kingdom for a while. I am still tossing around the idea of DTD, but last trip our DTD adventure was a disaster (really long bus ride, late dinner, worn out family), that DH is opposed. I know we didn't see the best of it (hello, shopping!), but maybe we'll skip it altogether this time...

Oh don't skip DTD!!! :yay: It's one our favorite things to do at WDW! Disney, shopping, and food. . . What could be better?! :cloud9:

Hopefully you will have better luck if you decide to give it another try! :wizard: My DH actually prefers DTD to the parks!

Just saw this on Mousesavers.... its a Disneyland discount... maybe that means something is in the works for us.....

Everyone gets in at the kids' price! Disneyland (California) is offering special vacation packages for arrivals between 1/6/09-4/30/09 that include adult tickets for kids' prices. Plus, stay at least 4 nights and get a $150 gift card!

YUK!!! I hope not... that would only be a savings of about $35 per person in my group..... not what I was hoping for..... and it says that the offer is not good on previously booked rooms....

That sounds identical to our first day. However, my friend is picking us up at the airport so we will head straight to DTD for lunch and to hang out for a few hours. Then we will check into WL and eat at GF @ 7 pm.

Does anyone want to do the "under 3 months" dance with me???!!!

I received that DL offer last year. And then received one for WDW that was totally different. Don't worry! :goodvibes

Good for you! I think we all need those once and a while.

QOTD:
I thought of this the other day while driving in my car listening to a Disney CD.

What is your favorite soundtrack to a Disney film? (Hope I said that correctly.):cutie:

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is my favorite I love it!!! Be our Guest..way to go now I'll have that song in my head all day Long ...oh well could be worse could be the It's a Small World song LOL

I just changed our reservation from a 5 day to a 6 day park hopper. It changed my balance by $6.80. That doesn't sound right, but I'm not complaing.

At least you can do it online I have to wait till I pick up my tickets at the will call desk and then I have to use it first and then add 2 days (cuz I'm coming in early and leaving late LOL) but its so going to be worth YAY

Shelly you have posted my fav menus the last couple of days thank you!!! I can't wait for my 50's PTC dinner!!

Good Morning to you all!! Today is grades are due and lab day so I'll be on more during lunch...see you laters...have to teach kids how to use microscopes when they get back from their Meet an Author assembly!!

:cool1: :cool1: DID SOMEONE SAY PARTY WOOOTT!!! Of course I'm in!!! :cool1: :cool1:

   Can't have a party without the dancing banana man LOL!!

They are really trying to push CA park it doesn't have the turn out that the others do. Just got an email saying how they are re-doing the themeing there. Trying to boost sales I guess.

DD looked a my ticker this am & said no way we have to be at the 3 month mark not 2. But if Shelley is at 3 & we go 3 weeks before her my ticker would be right. Right?

Oh my goodness...I'm trying to keep up!!
QOTD:
It would have to be a tie between Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid
And...I'm always up for a little Disney dancing!!:cool1:

Morning Snowbirds!

Did I hear the word party????
 :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:
Yay for everyone who's under the 2 month mark! Is it just me or is the rest of the year flying by!!!!

So I've been pitying everyone who's been complaining about the cold weather were they live. It's been a loverly fall here.....untill this morning when I left the house and was hit by a freezing wall of air. Seriously, who asked for winter? Oh well I guess that means it's almost Christmas!!!!! I can deal with the cold at first, because I love the Christmas season so much, it's after all the festivities die down and you have three long months of freezing cold starring you in the face I begin to loath the cold weather. At least I'll have my Disney Trip to look forward to!

QOTD: The Little Mermaid, not only are the songs wonderful, I think that film has the prettiest score! It's so beautiful. Beauty and the Beast comes in at a close second for the same reason. But, if I had to pick my all time favorite disney song, it would be Feed the Birds. I think it is so beautiful and moving. Plus, I love that it was Walt's favorite.

I have a problem...other trips that I have planned to WDW...I had spreadsheets planned, ADR's made...even some packing started already...2 1/2 months out. This coming trip to WDW...nothing yet. I did start a spreadsheet and I'm on the disboards daily, but not the total excitement that I had previous trips...why?:confused3 I'm wondering if I'm becoming more relaxed as this is my 14th trip and my girls 4th trip? We are on the CS dining plan so really no ADR's to plan. I love:love: everything Disney, but I'm wondering if there is something wrong with me?

I do have a trip to Schaumberg, IL planned next month and I can't wait to go to the Disney store there...but maybe because I'm saving up money for that trip and then the trip in January...I just don't feel the same as previous trips. Anyone else feeling just so so or is it just too far in advance for my excitment to kick in...or is it PMS kicking in?

I'm also less excited than I was when I booked the trip - I think the election has something to do with it, and the economic fears that didn't exist two months ago.

I've also decided that since we've been there so many times that I'm not going to plan everything out - maybe not until D comes home for semester break and we can do it together! We've just got our room, our ADRs, our flights and know which park each day. I've got the spreadsheet of all that info, and which parks have EMH when, and that's about all I intend to plan!

QOTD: I love Beauty & the Beast's soundtrack, and they added some wonderful songs when it moved to Broadway. (I do hate the implication in it that it's weird to be a pretty girl who likes to read, but that's a whole nother story.) But my favorite does have to be Mary Poppins, because I love live musicals and adore Julie Andrews & Dick Van ****!

ETA: Isn't that nuts that the language filter won't let me put in the actor's last name???
