Good Morning fellow Snowbirds (being from Texas, I can't say I've ever been called that before)

I just woke up in a particularly good mood this morning. Only 1 week until I can make (at least) 1 ADR Not sure if I'll be able to make the ones after the 25th or not.

Welcome Natalie! When are your dates? We'll be there the 24-31. We seriously considered AKL but decided on WL. I've wanted to stay there for SO long and we thought the kids would prefer it. Next time, we may do AKL though.

YEA, Me too........ I just made my ADR's. I have to wait to make my last 2. So here is my list,

1/21 D-Coral Reef (My sons b-day

1/24 B-Norway Princess Breakfast

I am holding out on the dining plan until I know the 2009 details.

Snowbirds, we leave for our summer trip Thursday
I will give a report. We are doing the deluxe plan, so I will have lots of food reports.

Hello Snowbirds! My family and I will be going January 11th-16th, staying at the WL club level. We have all of our ADR's made thanks to the great help from the IPO. This will be a suprise trip for my husband, cant wait!!

YAY congrats Six!

When can you make your last 2 ADR's?

I see you are going to Coral Reef for your son's B-Day. Do you know about the Diver Signs??? You can call and set it up so that they will have a diver in the aquarium swim down and hold up a happy birthday sign with your son's name on it! I did this for our anniversary in 2007, very cute!

Well that took some digging but luckily I don't throw any Disney info out!

Someone help...I am trying to go in Jan 09 but cant commit bc of SuperBowl fear!! We would have to go over this weekend using days before or after for DH's vacation days. Should I be scared to go the Wed before through SB weekend??

I don't know, we were originally going Jan 28 - Feb 3, but then heard about the SB and moved our trip up a week. Now going Wed Jan 21 - Tues Jan 27. Hoping to roll in right after the MLK crowds leave and roll back out before the SB crowds get there.

I really don't know how crowded it will be for the SB weekend. I would definitely try to get as much done as you can on Wed, Thur, and Fri! It probably won't be that bad. It can't be as bad as summer or holidays. If that's the only time you can go, then go for it! At least you'll be at Disney!!

I am doing this for my husband when we go in January, I have already set up the personalized menu and am waiting to hear about the diver...I have read on other threads that they wont be doing the diver starting next year but Im not sure if this is true or not. Good luck to you! Oh and it is free!

We'll be at POR 1/18-1/26. I know, MLK crowds, but does anyone know- do they usually last all week or just on Monday? We usually go the last week of January, but can't this year!

I think they generally only get the MLK crowd on the weekend. I haven't been there in January before though, I'm just judging from what I've heard and the hours.

I can't waity for a deluxe dining plan review. I look forward to your views and opinions. My curiosity is for 1. too much food? 2. too much time in restaurants.

Our family found we spent as much time in TS as we did CS (this was Jan 2007) and we enjoyed our TS more, and found DD ate esp with the buffets! "Hurry up and eat before Mickey comes back!" LOL
