January 2006 List- Who's Going

Our 4th trip in 4 years will be Jan 14th through the 21st and we'll be staying at CBR (unless a great room only code comes out; then we may switch to WL). We get to make our ADR's on Sunday morning; I can't believe it's already that time!

I just talked DH into a quick long weekend trip w/out the kids in January. I'm thinking the 20th-23rd. Now I just need to find cheap airfare and hotel! I can't wait! Just so no one thinks I'm a mean mom we(all 7! dh and the 5 kids) of us were just there in Feb 05 and will be doing a cruise in 07

Are you reasonably close to either Providence or Manchester? Check Southwest for flights. I booked ours for Jan. 15th, returning on the 22nd and the total with taxes and fees, for both hubby and I is $310.

I know I've already posted, BUT, I just booked my resort! So, for sure going to be at the Sheraton Resort! YAY!

We will be down for my BIL's wedding!

The rehearsal dinner (for 50 people!) is at California Grill. The ceremony is on 1/5 at the Wedding Pavilion, with the reception at Ariel's at the Beach Club, followed by a dessert reception at Illuminations.

We are sooo excited! My DD7 is a flower girl, and DD9 is a junior bridesmaid, and they both cannot wait.

After the wedding day, we have 5 days to enjoy the Parks.

The only downside is that we are booked thru the wedding with Group Res, so if a juicy code comes out, we won't be able to take advantage of it!

I think we've decided on the 8th-15th.

The plan was that Santa would bring the trip for Christmas. He did that last year too, what a cool guy! But now I'm thinking maybe he'd do a pretty low key Christmas on gifts...DD who will be 6 doesn't really know what things cost, as long as there are things under the tree, yk? So, the Christmas fund will then go to the WDW trip...

which I'm thinking maybe I'll just wake her up that morning and drive to the airport instead of church. What do you think? Santa or total surprise?

I'm almost positive we've decidedon AKL...now I'm deciding whether to book the savanna view or try and upgrade when we're there.

Also, waiting to a good air deal out of Philadelphia.

Could I be more excited? No.

Can't believe I have missed this thread for so many days. We will be at POP Jan 1-8, our longest trip yet. Just like everyone else, we can't wait to step off that plane New Years Day.

Well, Santa might be more likely to consider them if they hadn't just been there 2 weeks ago. So sorry, but I'm hogging all the Santa fun for myself. Oh, if anyone wants to know what DD wants for Christmas, tell them Disney Dollars.

DH and I from NB, Canada will be driving from Jan 5th, with a stop in Titusville. DH and his rockets!!!! Arriving in Disney on the 12th and staying to the 31st. Yahoo!!!

We returned from the World last week and just missed the opening of Raglan Road by one day, so we'll be looking forward to checking that out (DW lived in Ireland as a child). Looks like a lot of folks will be there then - we'll have to get some lime-green.

January 5 to 15 I think Got to check with husband on exact dates...can't wait! Staying at Boardwalk which is so fab!! I can't wait for the wonderful array of dining options and fast coasters YES!

We'll be there Jan29-Feb3. Santa will let the kids know that we are going, too. Still working on how that will happen.

DD6 (who received a GameCube from Santa last year after a few years of begging and saving his allowance to buy the games) is planning on asking for a Playstation this year. Which will NOT be coming. Hoping the trip will distract a bunch from that. I certainly works for me

Add us to the list! We'll be there January 22 - 30...BWV Sunday through Friday, then AKL Friday through Monday!

Just a suggestion kilee...you might want to put 'the list' in your first post at the beginning of the thread and update it there...makes it easy for us to go back and check who will be there with us. I know it's a lot of work to keep up with one of these threads, so if that's too much to ask I'll understand. Thanks for starting the January thread to get us through the waiting!
