Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I have come to find that everyday is a miracle and I am really looking forward to enjoying this cruise with my family.

I wish everyone good luck on their flights! I know that has to be a big source of stress. We are lucky enough to live within driving distance and that really saves money!

Would someone be able to find out what movies will be shown during our cruise and post them on the thread? I want to avoid phoning Disney from the Falkland Islands if I can help it!

I hope they will be showing Enchanted, its supposed to be a great movie and we are all looking forward to watching it!

We just got home from a weekend trip to Maryland...

Don't freak, no tickets yet. But rest assured we will have them by the end of the week!!!

Since we are booked in a Cat 12 gty, I've been watching other Jan. threads. It looks like the gty rooms for the Jan 5 cruise were on the DCL site on 12/7. So - for all you others waiting for gty room to be assigned, we hopefully will know by the end of next week (I'll be checking the DCL site daily anyway!!)

The only thing I am still waiting for are discount rental codes! I will probably go ahead and reserve the rental car this week - with or without the codes. Getting nervous about that!

I also have to figure out my St. Martin day all over again. We were booked with No Rush Tours...

We have all of our magnets done and they look great!!!! 1 month from Sun. we will be boarding our plane to our first stay at a Disney resort!!!! Port Orleans Riverside Can't wait to get there and experience the whole MAGIC package!!!! We are so pumped!!!!!

Well.....I can finally sit back and relax, got the towncar and hotel ressies booked. Beth, hope you're doing OK on getting your flights. About the only thing left to do is to get a few more things for the gift bags.

Brett...no tickets yet..lol and yes, I am officially freaked...DH has given me a deadline of tomorrow...I think I will wait till Monday....

So far the holiday season is stress less, just busy. DS comes home from college next week, so I am looking forward to that. Tonight I am working on our magnets and some stuff for the DIS get together..

Everyone up north and in the midwest, I hope you are all ok, and able to be warm. DD's inlaws are in Oklahoma City, and its a real mess there.

OMG how close is this cruise getting! I did some shopping today and got a few more things for the gift bag, I just havent had time to make a any door signs, and I dont think I will get the chance too now, I guess a few fridge magnets will have to do!

I took the kids to the beach after school today, do you think there will be any of these guys at Castaway Cay?

That is truly amazing....how incredible to be able to have that at your beach.

I would be in heaven.

Of course I am the one who flipped when I saw a dolphin at the beach last summer..lol

So yes, I can say, we have our tickets!!!!

A month to go until we are sitting somewhere in Florida at the start of our vacation - we fly out on the 16th and will be spending 3 days in either Kissimmee or Cocoa Beach / Port Canaveral area.

Does anyone have any recommendations of beach hotels in the Cocoa Beach / Port Canaveral area? If we spend 3 days in that area, I think (weather permitting) I would like to be near the beach...

This is really going to be a January thaw for us, RI has gotten about 8" of snow and it is a balmy 2 degrees this morning. Get out the sunscreen.

One month from today, our group will be in Florida!!!

No snow today but are expecting some tonight and more again Thursday. We have about 18" to 20" on the ground now. It's been a cold December this year, averaging around 23 degrees during the day and 5 degress at night, with a few below zero nights. Can't wait to go cruising!!
