OK, Lets all keep our fingers crossed that the shuttle launch is delayed a few more days. Current schedule is 2.26am on Jan 10th - I do hope it gets delayed a bit longer so we can see it

Well gang, We are on the 30 day countdown! We're finally done with Christmas shopping, now we have to do some more "cruise shopping".

Just wondering, are we still planning on the meet at the Promenade Lounge before the Safety Drill?

One month to go, unbelievable!

For those of you who have Cat. 12 guarantee rooms, we got our room # assigned last week. Has everyone else? It's on a different floor from our other rooms but near the same staircase so that should be a good excuse to get in a little exercise!

What's left on your cruise to-do lists?

Mine:

-finalize shopping/ packing lists
-make day by day activity/ clothing list so I can at least try to see what I'll really need and what to leave at home to minimize the overpacking
-find a frame + mat to have CMs sign
-finish buying pins and lanyards for my nieces/nephews on ebay (this is part of their Christmas gift that I will give them on the cruise, for pin trading!)
-finalize Day 1 morning schedule with family (this is like herding cats!), ie., when do we want to arrive at the port and what errands will we need to run on the way there so we can make sure we get up and out of the hotel early enough!

I am such a planner, can't have enough lists!

Can't wait to meet all you guys, let me know when we are going to meet, I am in for the bag swap (but do we really need to keep track of this? if everyone brings one, and we all exchange, we should have the right number, right?). Yall have no idea of all the treats Chattanooga, TN has to offer

I've been checking every day and still no room # for us. What category did you end up with?

It's still a Cat. 11, what we booked, no upgrade, but I'm happy it's near our other rooms. We basically got an extra Cat. 12 because there are 11 of us and we figured the extra bathroom and space would be worth it. We'd have to do a family suite for one family otherwise, so it saved us money since we put all the kids we could in there at that cheap rate.

I have been keeping a generalized list for the exchange, just so we can have a approximate number. Also the DIS tag and such.

I am not sure when or where the meet is, last I heard it was on Sunday, while we were at sea??? Autumnlala I will add you to the list.

Brett, that is alot of snow....NC would be shut down for weeks...lol

Hello all, I figured the Sunday at Sea would work to everyone's favor, I will double check the navigator that someone sent me to see when the lounge is free and post a time in the morning for the meet. I thought morning would be good also, to avoid any of the mid morning-evening activities.

Please be sure to include us in on the disBags exchange. Also, is it true that we only fix up one bag to give to only one family? Is that how it works? You don't have to bring something for each family, right? Let me know where we are meeting and when.
Also, is anyone else having trouble signing into their reservation on-line? I could not sign in at all yesterday or this morning. We have a cat 12 that we are waiting for a rooom number assigntment. Hoping that means they are updating room numbers.
Can't wait for January 19th to arrive!

We also have not been able to check our reservations for 2 days. I just called Disney and their phone message says they are having difficulties with their reservation system.

We leave in 26 days!!! We just can't stand the wait anymore. January 16th can't get here quick enough.

What are folks planning to do in St. Martin? Does anyone know if we are tendering (I've heard something like 7 ships in port that day?)

We've thought about either going to Orient Beach, the beach near the port, or the one near the airport where the planes fly in low. Does anyone have any recommendations (we'll be with DSs ages 7 & 5).

I think in St Marteen, its just us and another ship, in St Thomas there are 7 ships and we have to tender.

Our family is splitting up, DH and DS are doing the 7 meter regatta, and Ds and I are going on the island tour and butterfly farm. Then the 10 in our group are meeting up after lunch and going to sample guava berry and do some shopping.

thanks - after reading a bunch tonight we're trying to decide between Le Galion (just south of Orient, very family friendly), and Isla Pinel (north of Orient, requires a water taxi to reach, but is supposed to be amazing).

at St. Thomas we're planning to take a cab to Coral World, hopefully get on the semi-sub, and hit the beach next to the Aquarium.
