***ATTENTION EVERYONE ~AND~ FISH EXTENDER PARTICIPANTS***
I'm not on the FB group so I'm not sure if there's been any discussion over there about an embarkation day group meet. When we sailed the Magic last May the group met up at 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge on deck 3 (aft according to
DCL's website but it's situated between the midship & aft elevator banks). If there's no other embarkation day meets I would like to suggest this same time & location because we found it quite convenient. It'd be great to have the chance to say hello to everyone and start getting to know our shipmates.
Fish Extender participants, it's particularly important to set up a spot to meet up on embarkation day prior to sail away so if there's any stateroom number changes I can get that info distributed to everyone. I'll send out an email to everyone on the list once the sign-ups close and the list is final. I'll be giving you my cell phone number that you can text any stateroom number changes on embarkation day. At the group meet I'll double-check to make sure there's no other issues with the stateroom numbers so nobody misses out on the exchanging. I'm not anticipating a lot of changes considering how sold out the cruise is but just in case I want to make sure I'm clear how we'll handle this stuff. I'll send out more details with the email next week.
Anywhoo, since I'm not on FB I'd appreciate if someone could copy/paste the embarkation meet suggestion over there if there's not been one set already. If there's been an embarkation day meet already set up please let me know what was discussed.
Also, if anyone would like to try to plan some other meets during the cruise we can do that. During an at sea day meeting pre-lunch can be fun to do so everyone can split off to whatever restaurant they're planning to go to in groups and sit together to visit over a meal. Just a suggestion. Oh! And maybe we could try to meet on the deck 7 "secret deck" sometime! That'd be neat!
So excited! My oldest discovered the surprise. That kid is too clever for his own good sometimes. The youngest still is utterly clueless and, thankfully, everyone is still committed to making it a big surprise for him on Christmas.
