I love your book. How did you add so many Disney graphics and I love your front cover with pics in the holes. I have made a book from every cruise on shutterfly but have just used black as the base cover since they didn't have disney graphics. I would love mine to look like yours. Tell me your secrets!!!

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a great time (and you must have if you are going back again...) One thing I did notice is lots of long pants and sweatshirts in the pictures. I guess even in Mexico it is a bit chilly in January.

Yes, we have a great time there. We live in Southern California, I think what we think is already cold it not cold for you. Here in our place there is no snow in the winter.

I work for Brigham Young University in Provo, UT - I woke up to snow this morning. It's not cold until there are ice crystals forming in my eyes.

So I'm curious - what are people planning on doing in PV and Cabo? We had looked at a few excursions, but they were just getting to be too expensive for us. We've been thinking about things like a glass bottom boat tour, maybe lunch at Cabo Wabo, but that's about all I've come up with.

Are there any group activities people want to go in on?

I'm also thinking maybe it would be fun if we had a "night before" meet at the Crowne Plaza since it looks like there are at least 3 families staying there on the 14th.

For us,
Last January, My kids do swim with Dolphin in Puerto Vallarta. The place have a water park too. Its free to play in the water park if you do swim with dolphin, and the price is good. But this time I think we just going around downtown. we just take taxi from the marine terminal.

At cabo, we want to eat shrimp Cocktail there and buy hot pepper sauce

Last time at Cabo..we did a boat trip and saw the rock..
in PV, i went ziplining and DH went to walmart..

this time, we are doing things we missed before..DH wants to go Kayaking and I want to whale watch....so we are doing the kayaking in PV and whale watching in Cabo..

I am so not looking forward to snow, we had snow before Halloween this year but nothing since, thank goodness! But cold for me is relative. I like it over 70 degrees but I typically don't make it into shorts until high 80's. I think I'll be bringing jeans

As for excursions - we are doing the outdoor adventure in PV and Scuba on day 1 in Cabo. Day 2 in Cabo is our 10 year wedding anniversary so we are not sure if we are going to do an excursion or just stay on the ship and enjoy some adult alone time (spa or otherwise).

We don't have anything planned either. I thought alot of things were over priced. Might look into the glass bottom boats. I thought whale watching would be cool till I saw on the news where they just shoot up and almost took out a kayaker...LOL

As for the Crowne meet, I am up for that. I think we should be to the hotel after dinner or before, just depends how much homework the girls need to get done before we board the Wonder. We were gonna hit Hollywood a little Sat and hope to catch a shuttle after returning the rental car at LAX.

We are staying here but I am not sure what time we will get in. We just found out that my daughter has try outs for Comp soccer the 13th, 14th and 15th. She has to go to the first 2 so we will have a seven hour drive as soon as she is done. They haven't sent out the time for tryouts yet.

Seven hours,wow!!! My dd 8 does soccer. Is comp same as travel? we have travel here. she play premier or international? ? dd will miss a few foot skill classes while we are gone but I am sure they will cover it with her when we return.

well, tell them that is very inconvenient for you and it is going to mess up your cruise plan, they should just re-schedule everyone, LOL!

ahhh, I can't wait for my pre-cruise pedicure! I might get a manicure on board because if I get it too early, it won't be any good by the time the cruise rolls around, LOL!

Ok here is the FE list...if you should be on this let me know, please check webpage that I spelled all names correctly. Still waiting for 2 people's GTY rooms. We have a few more days before FE lists closes. Also bad news....tried getting our friends to join us and I called Disney...they aren't excepting anymore children. They have rooms left for adults but no kids. Now we will cruise again with our friends but I am more concerned cause we cruise off season in hopes of a less crowded ship...I believe we are booked solid and upgrades will be hard to come by and lines for characters maybe long...sheesh I hope not!!!!

Well I am going stir crazy. I have 9 more days till we tell them, I am gonna die here! Our week is soooo busy. Tonight DD(8) and I are gonna do something special, while DD(11) is at a bday sleepover. Then Sat we go shopping with friends so sibs can buy something for each other for Christmas and then off to 2 travel soccer games. Sun church , soccer practice, Mon soccer practice, Tues dance, weds my orthopedic appt and girls hair cuts, thurs dance(3 hrs) and staying at Kalahari for a night of waterpark fun, then Friday- more Kalahari, then Sat is Christmas Eve and having family over for dinner and presents...OMG I am tired just typing that!!! Breathe Michelle Breathe!!

Trying to decide what we are gonna do while in Cabo and PV. Don't need an excursion but was looking at the Sea Lion encounter in PV cause we will do dolphins in Cozumel in Oct Fantasy cruise. I thought maybe the girls would like the Sea Lions since they are funny animals. Anyone ever do this or know anyone to do this?

So what are people doing for LAX->San Pedro transportation? We're coming in on the 14th (plane lands around 3:00 p.m.) and staying at the Crowne Plaza. Is there anyone else staying at the CP or nearby that would be interested in splitting a van/limo? The cheapest I've found so far for my wife and myself is $40 (with tip) on Super Shuttle. If we can get the same or a better price splitting cost with someone on a private vehicle we'll go that route.
