Here is a link to an FE thread wherre people share there FE ideas. I don't know the amount yet....maybe we will stop the availability to join the FE at Xmas....sound good to everyone. That will give everyone 20 days to get things together and have a count of people. Anyone want it to stop sooner? Check out this thread ...it will give you ideas...from things people buy, to make....some do a little token and some go overboard... it's all up to the individual. Hope this helps

Hi, We have officially joined you. Right now cruising is me, DS 14 (will just turn 14 Dec 23), DS 3.5 and DD 2.5. Yep, right now I am taking them on my own. I would like to participate in the FE if possible.

I am trying to get DH to go (likely not) and it looks like my mom and maybe DD 19 (asking her boss, should know by week end). DH has been on two MR and is not interested in another MR. But this trip is cheaper than many things we considered for extra time with me and the kids. I will be going out of town for two weeks at the end of May and have been very booked with my EMBA program and starting a new business. So, I have needed extra time with the kids. The two weeks DH is taking off to stay with the kids for that trip and a possible Hawaii trip we have booked for Oct uses all of his vacation.

So this is my extra family time with the kids before I do not see them for two weeks. Also, I am meeting my sister and her kids who just moved away from us to San Diego after we return. I tried to get them to come along but she is scared of the cruise ship.

We are looking at flying in on Friday and doing one day at the parks on Sat. Not sure on transportation, but having to consider car seats is a bit limiting. We will likely do Disney Transportation.

For those of you who have the zip line in PV, we did this recently and had a blast. We are now booked for the Resort in PV and I am taking the DS 3.5 on the dolphin in Cabo. I am considering the teen surf for DS 14 (any information?). We had very bad issues with the currents and water in Cabo last year so I am still on the fence regarding the teen surfing excursion. The rest of the time we are staying on the ship.

Can't wait to meet all of you!

Awesome!!! You're on this cruise, too! How cool. I *think* we're going. At least I have a deposit down. Need to make a final decision by November 1st. I thought it would be me and my son and two of my grandchildren but he isn't going. Still trying to convince DH but it may just be me and my grandaughter.

You are good! Yep I'm Joleen, and the kids are DS 14 Seth, DS 3.5 Jackson and DD 2.5 Sailor. Boy she was only three months old then. Such a small world.

You'd really just have to call the hotel and ask. If they ask for your reservation number give them the confirmation number you got from Priceline. That's not the Priceline request number, but an actual confirmation number from the hotel that on the email from Priceline appears right below my name next to the text "Room 1: "

I feel accomplished. I pricelined a rental car just for the day Sat. We land about noon and DD says if she EVER gets the chance to go to Cali she wants to see Hollywood. Sooooo I booked a car for 30 total to get us around. Then at 9pm we will return it and take the super shuttle to the hotel. It saves us over $40 to do it that way instead of renting the enterprise car one way. Cali has awful drop charges and taxes, etc. So we can TRY and make it around to see a few things before heading to hotel. Now just to book the shuttle and everything should be booked. I will buy my picture credits onboard so that will wait. Feeling more accomplished. Now just to make my FE gifts.

Hi all,

My family (me, DH, DD 2.5 and DS 2.5) will be joining for this cruise. I managed to tempt our cousins and their 2 boys (they'll be turning 10 & 5 in January) into coming as well. And then they in turn convinced their best friends to join us, too! (For the purposes of this message, we'll call them Mr & Mrs Bear and their DD13 and DS10.)

It's the first cruise ever for my family and our cousins, but it will be the 2nd Disney Cruise for Mr & Mrs Bear. The wives are doing all the planning and are pretty excited, although our husbands have expressed concern that we're going to create a Disney vortex of some sort once we're all together on the ship. But we couldn't resist a Disney cruise with a kids sail free offer that doesn't require airfare to get to the port!

My family and the cousins are interested in doing the Fish Extenders. I don't know about Mr and Mrs Bear just yet.

I'll let all of them introduce themselves once they get set up with DISboards log ins, but for the purposes of your FE tracking you can list my family as:

jcmh & DH. DD2.5 and DS2.5 (yes, twins)

We have GTY status, so no stateroom number yet.

Finally logged in and was happy to see the group growing! Been hard to sneak on here when I am working. Then once I am on, it becomes an obsession on reading and remembering I have to book a hotel the night before and do this and that. We are 11:30 check in (yep, I forgot). We have our cabin numbers already, but am hoping to upgrade at the port. We did this last time and got the Roy Disney Suite for a awesome rate (I saved for a year in hopes of getting it)because we gave up 2 cabins and it was a once in a lifetime upgrade. That won't happen again, but definately looking to upgrade to something a bit bigger.
FE's are very fun, for our last DisneyCruise, I ordered our fish extenders through someone that made them on ebay. We had 50+ cabins to deliver to DD thought it was Christmas everyday. I will let you all know that my daughter, Hannah, is mentally and physically handicapped so she will be in the kids club. They are awesome and that is why I only do Disney! I can't wait for this cruise to happen! We have met some wonderful people from all over the world on our last ones that we still have contact with. So much to do, so little time.

So glad that you have come to chat....yes it is very addicting. Once logged in I find it easy tool around I do to love the FE...we had ours made by Gradysmommy on ebay...Tiffany is great. We had about 40 cabins last time. A question for you....is there anything Hannah can't have? Just wondering for gift giving....don't wanna give any kid something they can't have.

We are first time Disney Cruisers (me and DD6 and a friend and her DD 6) we are spending the Aussies big school holiday going to Seaworld, Legoland and of course Disneyland and then finishing off with the cruise (figured we would need the break - kids club here we come!!)

A friend who got back two weeks ago told me about this site so looking forward to getting some tips.
