HEY!!! How are you!!! Yes I booked on board last time and moved it when the new dates came out. I would LOVE to book yours! But I doubt I will be able to. Having troubles finding someone to keep my grandmother while we are gone. Thanks so much for saying "hey"!

We finally booked! THis will be my DH and DS first cruise ever and my first DCL cruise! THis is a Christmas gift for our son who has been asking to see Mickey Mouse! Not sure how I am going to present it at Christmas to him from Santa.....Have a few months for that!

DH -Victor
me -Diane
DS -Arthur -age 5

We are in Room 7624 and I see by reading this thread that is the floor to be on and Crash the Caribbean......
We have early seating..

I have not been on a cruise in over 10 years so I am very excited for this trip! My DH is a bit leary about being on a ship for a week...Hoping he loves it as much as I have in the past...:yay:

I am thinking of coming in on Friday night because it would be my luck there would be a snowstorm in Boston Sat and I would not get out....Can anyone suggest where to stay for the night...
Thanks!

welcome!
:wizard:

I noticed you are flying from Logan. Where in MA are you from?

Welcome dmarie5! We are neighbors cabin #7625! :cool1:

We ended up with second seating, I have never done late seating. I hope it is not going to be a problem being too late. Our last cruise was on NCL and I really got used to freestyle dining. However, I needed a DCL fix after that! I would love to link reservations so we can be at the same table, I think that would be fun! On NCL we never got to sit with others, always by ourselves. I was not fond of that.

If you want to add us to the list:

It is Adam (DH), Aydan (ds) and Dawn (me).
From Boynton Beach, FL.
Palo: OH YEAH!
Tea: Maybe, actually probably, sounds fun!
Room 7625
FE: Probably.

Oh forgot... We are celebrating our Anniversary 1/15!

Does anyone know if we are allowed to bring a small blender (like the bullet). I want to make drinks in the room. I got hooked on watermelon vodka drinks.

Hello neighbor!
I would have loved to link our dining, but unfortunately we have early dinner not late. I think the late would have been too late for DH and DS.

I am very excited about the trip and can't wait. Anyone have any good ideas how to surprise my DS whom is 5 with this trip as his Christmas gift????? :santa:

I have been reading about making my own FE. I am not crafty at all and do not have much time. But was thinking of taking a crack at making mine. Has anyone hear made a non sew one before and is not crafty??? Is it easy?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
Diane

Welcome welcome! Yes floor 7 is the place to be! and the back of the ship I might add :teeth:

I stayed at the Raddison and I was deeply disapointed. The rooms were on the warn side and when we were being picked up after the cruise, it took them over an hour to pick up up while we saw many Raddison buses going to the other ships. I am going to stay on Disney's site I think.

I'm not sure if you know this (I have such a short memory...the others can attest to it), but we can link you into our ressies. Last time we cruised, we had about 5 families sit together and we had the BEST time! Just let me know!

How old is your son by the way? My daughter is 9 (will be 10 time of sailing) and she would LOVE to have someone else to talk to.

Jen

This drink sounds good. How do you make it?

Jen:
THanks for the insight on the Raddison!
Thank goodness I have plenty of time to iron out where we will stay. My DS has never been to Disney and depending on the flight times perhaps we may stay at Disney so he can see the fireworks and Disney park for a day......

Could we please be added on to do the FE exchange? I am not that crafty but after my visit to Michaels today......I have got an idea of what to do.....

I never got an email that we had replies to this thread:confused3

My son is 9 and shy of 10 by 3 months when we sail. I want to get him on the kid thread, he would love it. Jen should I give you my ressie number to link?

Watermelon drinks (yumm) fresh watermelon, watermelon vodka, triple sec and ice! I just hope I can bring my little blender.

......Actually it will be in January, not sure if watermelon is available, guess banana drinks instead:cool1:

Finally nice being under 200 days......been hearing Carly Simon and Tom Petty in my head a lot lately!............An-ti-ci-pation............The Waiting is the Hardest Part!

I totally agree! But it's funny. Now that I am older, I enjoy the anticipation. Now that I know what I am looking forward too, it is fun to wait for it. It is part of the vacation to me. Sound too weird? Maybe you have just experienced a little part of my personality then hahahaha

I totally agree! I love the pre-cruise anticipation. I love reading about the cruise and coming on this board and talking about the cruise. Actually I love anything that has to do with the cruise! My family does not get me, so this is my only outlet! :goodvibes
