THAT'S WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT DOING!!! I'm not sure if I can pull it off or not but we may be at POFQ with you You do know to wait to book... they should be offering free dining plan in the future.

We are already booked for the 11th to 14th. We applied a AAA rate, but if free dining or a better room only discount comes out all it takes is a phone call to switch the rate/promotion. They will apply promotions to already existing reservations. We didn't get tickets in case we need to get them with any promotion.
We've never stayed at POFQ but it looks so nice, and the rate was good too

I was wanting to do 10th-14th but I doubt I can pull it off , I'm not even sure I can pull off the 11th -14th but I'm going to try. If not, we're looking at just coming in Fri.

Wow! I just checked Southwest again to see what the prices are (just in case they went down) and found that our flights went UP $40 per person already!

I feel like we got an $80 discount, lol...

Now, if a room only discount or FD opens up for the WDW part of our trip I will be thrilled beyond belief

It depends on the number of people.
DCL is $70 per person
Towncars vary in price by company.
Rental cars tend to be the cheapest-if you book one way each time. Budget usually has good rates, and has a shuttle from their PC location to/from the port. Mousesavers has a list of good codes to use with Budget too.

I just booked a mid size car for Friday night til Sat for $53 using priceline -Budget car rental. We are arriving Friday night and driving down to PC that night.

There's a budget in Downtown Disney that has pick up service. I am pretty sure it's at the Doubletree. When I priced it for a 1 day it was $48 (plus gas and tolls).

As I PM'd on FB, we're staying at the Hyatt @ the airport the night before the cruise. I checked into tickets for WDW-MK and it was $385 for the 4 of us!?! I was just hoping to take the kids over for the evening, but not for that $$ even with free dining.

DU was able to get me the kids transfers free, so we're @ $140 RT for the 4 of us.

Got our airfare booked today on Delta, 3 free tickets and mine was $320. Saw better but with the financial situation going on I felt safe just booking it and being done. Never know how the airlines are going to react.

What a great FE! She did a wonderful job! I have not decided if I am going to try and make it or just bite the bullet and buy one. Unfortunately, I am not crafty at all and do not know how to sew.....But was give it a go at the no sew ones.....

I also remember you were looking for ways to surprise the family for Christmas and I came across this link from a few years ago and thought I would pass it on. I think I am doing something similar to surprise my 5 yo son!

Guarantee only rooms are sometimes available when a category sells out. I am already booked. But if I switch I may get an upgrade to a better category, OR I could end up getting the same category but at a different location that might not be desirable (noisy). It is a gamble. I got bumped up twice before to a category 10 oceanview.

We are booked!

There will be 11 of us as planned(5 adults, 6 kids). Have late dining, but would really like first seating, mostly for Pirate night.

None of us have ever cruised before.

We're on deck 7, three cabins in a row, near the adult area (I think). Will this be a problem having kids in cabins near the adult area?

Now figuring out passports. Do most of you cruise with passports? Is it a must for you, or more for convenience? We're leaning more towards getting them than not.

Lastly, my 3 boys are special needs. Anyone else traveling with special needs children?

So excited! Neither my 4 kids nor my niece and nephew have a clue! They will find out at Christmas. I can't wait to see their shock ad excitement when they find out. I hope i can contain myself till then!
