We booked this cruise today as part of our back to back to back, with a couple Dreams after this. I was shocked to already see 17 pages on this thread when I came in. Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Hey there and welcome!! We are a crazy bunch and was very excited about the trip but we have quieted down. When we get closer, we will gear up again.

I noticed that at the bottom of your post, it says Western MAGIC 2012....this is an Eastern cruise. I hope that is a typo and you are really on this cruise!

Thank you, yes a typo...we had been looking at doing Western but couldn't find back to back adjoining rooms on the Dream after a Western...We have been on both previously so it makes no difference, just a great chance to enjoy DCL and the friends we have made on board.

I havent been on the Magic before but I was in the 7550s on the Wonder and it was really nice. I am in the back of the ship because I wanted the hidden verandah and thought I could upgrade later if I wanted. Looks like the party would be in the back! LOL I wish someone could have rented the really back one because their deck is half the back! The last cruise a diser showed it to me. Oh my gosh it was amazing! If it is available when we check in, I am going to get it. PARTY AT JEN'S!! Well, until 10 that is hahahahaha

But I dont know if it was the room or the first cruise, but I didnt want to leave the room. It was so great! We spent most of our time in the room with the door open. This time I will get out more. I wasted too much time in the room and not getting to know my dis friends and I am very sad about that. Not this time baby! We have 3 at sea days! I have Lorelei trapped so she will HAVE to spend time with me!! (insert EVIL laugh here)

Hi Jen- Here's some more info for Dave and I:
We have early seating for dinner.
We probably won't do the FE because we don't have the kids with us this trip.
As of now, I am not sure about Palo, but if we do go, it will probably be brunch. If I have enough VISA points accumulated we may try dinner too .

We are going to cancel our night before the cruise in port, and are staying at WDW from Wednesday to Saturday morning. I'm thinking right now that we are going to stay at POP and get the dining plan. If they do free dining, we are going deluxe, but we'll have to wait and see with that one. We did book Happy Limo to get to the port on Saturday. No driving for either of us this trip, which is a first

Welcome to all the new cruisers on this thread. We definitely have quieted down since our initial excitement, but I am sure we will pick up soon!

It's snowing and cold here today--just got the power back (thank God for the pellet stove and the battery backup). The snow is wet and heavy, trees are creaking and groaning, the baseball cage is 1/2 collapsed, school was cancelled...I guess Mother Nature played a really good April Fool's joke on us!

I just quit my job yesterday. I'm so excited! I am going to work my business full time instead of in everything else in life. Im still a little freaked about it.
