We have Be Our Guest Reservations at 4:20, I am not sure we will be able to do both, since we're not staying at the BWV, I won't have a car there. I just realized the conflict.

Dear DVC DIS,

I've been absent because I've been enjoying our vacation that yes started on New Year's Eve. I'm appalled at the behavior at some who posted in late December giving private info without my permission. The only reason I'm back is to set the record straight so my wife has a magical birthday...

1) Yes we are John & Christa
2) The reason I changed her name is that she was being harassed on FB.
3) She signed us up in September and has the FB PMs to prove it. So we were never late.
4) She got deathly ill and was trying to get the FE list but it was never sent to her even though she shared all of our personal info.
5) I used Cathie and John Michael because I was trying to avoid the same harassing and invasive issues that she encountered, but it happened anyway. And because her parents have a FE with Cathie/Mike on it that I was planning on using to keep us private. I wanted the privacy you PROMISED your other FE participants.
6) Speaking of, I only made our HH, CB, & OKW reservation on 12/8/12 and to my memory I'm almost 100% sure I did NOT post our itinerary anywhere. So why would you invade my privacy by posting the exact dates of where we are staying? In fact how did you get them HG?
7) In fact, HG, why couldn't you just leave things alone? I've gotten weekly email updates and I see that others have asked to be on the FE after we did in September and 12/10/12 and you let them in with no questions asked?
8) So with that, dear DVC DIS, I have brought gifts for 30 rooms. If you any have extra and were or could accommodate us for my wife's 40th birthday I would be greatly appreciative! Please reply to this or PM your room number. I posted ours last month but if you need it HG has it or I can send it to you.

Thank you for coming clean and admitting your were lying to everyone. If you would like to see the post on facebook or the boards where your wife posted all the information that was used to question you validity I can direct you to them.

As I mentioned before this is something I believed everyone has moved on from.

To answer your post ...

1. Thank you for admitting the truth.
2. I am not sure who was harassing you on facebook (since your wife got upset I wouldn't send her an FE list without her providing your info first and then blocked me) but I do hope you get this resolved.
3. This really goes back to what I just mentioned I never received any info from Christa except that she wanted to participate and that she needed a list way in advance but never provided me information.
4. Again back to 3. I do hope she is feeling better though
5. Privacy is definitely a concern that a lot of people where having. This goes back to 3 again. Christa or you would have had to send me your info to receive the list. Once you started lying about your identity to everyone no one knew what was going on and it caused a lot more problems and no solutions.
6. Again I can refer you to the post Christa made on Facebook and Disboards in regards to the dates and locations you were staying at the resorts. Christa never sent me this info. In fact I never saw it until I was reading her online post.
7. What would you have liked me to leave alone? How can I provide a safe place for people to provide what they believe is personal info for an FE when someone is lying and trying to con everyone just to join. If I can't trust you and others are questioning your suspicious activity then there is a problem. I was emailed numerous times by different participants who were not comfortable with the deceiving way your were portraying yourself.
8. As I had mentioned before to you in a private and public message if you would like to participate then I would notify you if anyone contacted me to add you. I didn't receive any request. I also told you to bring the gifts you felt comfortable bringing and just dropping them off at the rooms that had FE's if you still wanted to give something out.

In conclusion. This conversation is over for me. There is some communication issues between Christa and you in regards to this issue and you should really discuss this with her. I hope you both have a great trip and I do wish her a Happy Birthday as I have before. Both of you are welcome to join us at any of the meet ups and I don't think anyone will treat you any differently that what is deserved.

Sorry I wanted to add this ... I have not posted any private messages from Christa to me or my replies back because of a respect for her privacy. If you would like to see the messages or have them posted in a public forum please have Christa contact me and tell me it's ok. I don't see the point but it's up to her.

You "are appalled at the behavior of some", how about your own behavior.

Your wife asked to be taken off the FE list back in late Sept-early October. She or yourself could have simply came back and asked to placed back onto the list. Your ruse made things worse and now you act as if someone else is to blame.

As to adding others to the FE list after the deadline, Hollywood Glitter has posted basically the same response she gave you when you first posted.

I'm new to the boards but was referred to the DIS and the FEs by a friend I met on the Magic and they told me that the close date was today according to something they read on FB. Hoping that me and my wife can get added on the list please. We are celebrating my wife's 40th birthday and it's a huge surprise for her. Hoping to make it magical by adding the FEs for her birthday. Oh and we are celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary too. Thanks, John

What you can do is send me your info and I can forward it to everyone. Whoever can add you will notify me and I can send you a list. There is no guarantee as to everyone being able to add you but usually we can still get a good list going for you.

I know the FE list for this cruise is closed , but we just learned about the FE group yesterday. So we are going to put up a fish extender on our stateroom and who knows, maybe some Disney Magic will happen!

Too many visits to list, but my first visit to Disney was in 1974.

Hi Jeff

Welcome to the cruise. Unfortunately due to some privacy issues we cannot send out the FE list to anyone not on it. However I'm going to forward your info to all the participants and see if they have any extra for your family. Please keep in mind we have already had some late additions and some people have already begun traveling.

If you want to bring gifts like mentioned above then I can tell you there are 20 rooms participating. You'll be able to find them from the FE's hanging outside their doors.

We arrived at Boardwalk Villas at noon. Room was ready, yeah! Had lunch outside at The Big River Grill and then off to shop at DTD. Dinner soon at Yachtsman Steakhouse. Tomorrow we go to MK. See everyone at TOWL tomorrow night. Anyone know if we can park at BLT or Contemporary? If not, any suggestions?

You can probably park there if you valet. Otherwise, definitely not for the day and maybe for TOWL. You'd have to check with the guard. Best bet might be to just use buses for the day or park at TTC.

I'm planning to park at MK parking lot. After Wishes, we'll take the monoril to TC & head back to Kidani by car. We did a trial run of this on Saturday and it worked fine.

Hi all,
Just wanted to apologize for not properly tagging the FE gift I gave out. After making them all I forgot to think about tags. Mine was the black pen with the red Mickey on it.

If you need to replace the ink, you can pull the cartridge out with pliers by grabbing it around the blue part, and insert a new one. The pens are Papermate stick pens.
