January 10-14th EVENTS

Going to WDW - MK Jan. 10-14th. How would I find out what "events" will be happening? Some other post give a few happenings, but where would I find a list?

I saw Jan. 13-16 the builders show
and Jan. 15 Cheerleading Comp.

Does anyone know if anything is scheduled before that??? Thanks

We'll be there at that time too (get there a few days earlier and leave a few days earlier). Not much going on except for the marathon that weekend, but that usually doesn't impact the parks much.

Ah, you see, that's the problem! There isn't a list! I have just run across all these other lovely events, largely by accident! Once in awhile someone will post something on here about a trade show or a sports competition, but there isn't anything that will tell you ALL of the events. I looked at www.intercot.com on the "events" calendar and found two more events at the Wide World of Sports Jan. 14 and Jan. 15 so I have a feeling that weekend is going to be VERY crowded on top of the increased crowds from MLK holiday. The big question is WHEN do all of these people arrive? Are they purposely coming in early to go to the parks or are they staying for a few days after? Or are they coming in strictly for their event and leaving? That will be the most important factor in determining crowds. Just because the events start after we leave doesn't mean those folks won't show up early for some fun in the parks. Sigh...
