For those brides that have done this, or for those that travel at this time...what is the park traffic like on January 1 or so?

The Unofficial Guide rates the crowds as a 10, which is the highest scores. Then the day after is a 7, then the day after that is a 3 I believe. I hope that helps. Just apply the numbers as a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most crowded possible, 1 being hardly any lines.

Also, MK is always the busiest, followed by Epcot, MGM, and AK. Epcot is about twice the size of MK so you do not feel the crowds as much, but they're still definitely pretty busy. However, we spent Easter, which is one of the busiest WDW days of the year, at MGM and did not feel the crowds AT ALL. We even walked right on to Millionaire with no wait!
