CROWDS?!?! What crowds... There's hardly any wait at Epcot yesterday 1/5. We ate at the Garden Grill and there was no wait. We were seated right away. The characters were there at our table every so often. My kids really liked that a lot. It was somewhat cooler yesterday than those other times. The weather was GREAT!! It was always sunny and the temp was in the low 80s and at nite it was about 65 which it was fine.

What to wear at nite? Definite either a sweatshirt/sweater and/or pants. But during the day time, shorts and t-shirts are a must.

Thanks for the update. Im packing today and on a plane tomorrow, so I enjoyed the update.

better. Many people leaving on the 2nd and the 3rd. I wish were could have stayed longer and maybe next year we will.:hyper:
Weather was in the low 80's during the day and in the 60's at night. Perfect for swiming.

You are lucky you were there for the very warm spell Florida just had. Even up here in FL where I am we got up to upper 70's the last week or so! But that changed today and we woke up in the 20's, warming to 50. Orlando WILL be warmer than N. FL,, but if you are about to go, check the weather and see if they are having a cold snap too.:sunny:
Glad you had a great time and no crowds! That is always fun.::yes::

I sure hope the crowds stay low we leave Sat!! :) But.. think it will be a bit crowded because of the Marathon.
It is going to be cold from today through next week so if you are going bring something warm to wear at night!!

Fantasia, we are from the U.P. Are the low 80's at this time of year to warm for jeans?

And hope the weather is NOT too COLD!  I am packing 2 pants and 2 shorts plus 1 long sleeve shirt and 2 jackets, a light one and a thicker one.:p  Hope I won't need them.:o Its 68 degrees here in Miami right now!:earseek:

Another cold spell has hit Fla. So for those of you coming down might want to pack jackets and sweatshirts. The rest of the week looks likes highs in the 50s and lows in the 30-40s. Dont forget that when you are around water that nice breeze makes it colder as well.

I have my suitcase open and really wanted to leave my capris in there!! Weatherchannel.com showed low 70's for Fri and mid-upper 60's for Sat. I was so looking forward to a little warm weather. Is there a different way to search, Ive been putting in Orlando, FL?

hi Tink!
Im seeing mid to high 60's low 70's!! I think you could wear capris during hte day!! Just bring some warm stuff for night!1 And dont forget your green ribbon!!

We leave on Friday and I've packed a little bit of everything--shorts, capris, jeans, sweatshirts, jackets. Although, when you live on the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" anything feels good!

Go Packers! Too bad we'll be too busy at the parks to watch the game on Sunday!

Yooperfan, it might be a little bit too hot to wear jeans when the temp is in the low 80s. I say if its in the low 60s and it's at nite, then jeans are perfect at this kind of temp.

I guess we just got lucky! Not once we wore our jeans and our sweatshirts. All those times we wore shorts and shirts. The weather was just gorgeous.

I hope the weather will be nice for anyone who is going at this time. My suggestion is to bring lite jacket or a sweatshirt and just tie it around your waist so you don't have to carry them with you. Capri is nice for the ladies. It is short enough when it's hot and long enough when it gets cold.

There won't be any temps near 80 for possibly several weeks, yesterday at Universal the day started at 44 degrees at park open, barely warmed up to mid 50's with about a 10mph wind.

People were wearing caps, gloves and even down coats.

check out the local forecast and also the extended forecast.

So glad I had my parka, gloves and scarf. Froze yesterday (1/10), the cold, damp wind really made it feel colder. OF course if still didn't keep us away from Spectromagic and Wishes. It was a magical vacation despite the cold day. Friday was comfortable, started out with capri's, 3/4 sleeve tee and a light weight fleece (which I tied around my waist in the afternoon). Was comfortable in this clothing into the evening. Although added a rain poncho when rain that came through.

Thanks to all those who provided advice on the fluctuations in weather this time of year. My DH and I really found those little hand warmers to be a very useful tip! And they warmed my nose too!
