Jan/Feb crowds and Special Events?

Got a PIN code offer that is too good to pass up so we are going to be going mid-late Jan or early Feb.

Are there any special events (I know about the marathon and President's weekend) like dance competitions or such that might cause us to choose one week over the other? We are very flexible on our dates. Right now thinking of Feb 4-11, but could go 1 or 2 weeks before that.

Hoping for low crowds and no heat!

Any suggestions/reasons to pick one week over the others???

Don't forget about MLK weekend. Also check out www.varsity.com for the dates of the cheerleading competitions. We went at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb and only had the last day (Sat, Feb 6th) where we had crowds from the cheerleading comps.....

Crowds are very low except for the times I mentioned above.
