Hey, I'm back. Sorry it's been so long since I posted but everytime I started to pay on the cruise something would blow up, break down, get lost, etc. Didn't want to get all excited and then have to cancel. We're in cabin 2610. Thanks for the info on formal, semi-formal and pirate nights. I'm getting a facial on day 2, we're dining at Palo on day 3, and we each have 1 excursion booked each day ashore. We did cruise last in Jan of 2010 Western Caribbean so Carrey we have met before. Trying to catch up on the board now. Should post more often. Look forward to cruising with you all.

I am starting to get really excited!! My brain has been in overload trying to figure out what to give for fish extender gifts and how to decorate my door. DH thinks I have lost my mind!

The doors are metal so we have purchased Disney award ribbons from Party City and put magnets on the back and also used magnetic printer paper to print and cut out Disney images to stick to the door. People like to rearrange the stuff on our door. It fun for them and we never know what our door will look like. If anyone has other suggestions we would love to know.

We have a laser printer and the only magnetic paper I could find was for inkjet. Instead, I bought some Glossy laser paper and printed out the photos I liked. I then laminated them and will place magnets on the back. After several hours of doing it last night, my fingers are sore from all the cutting. I think I am going to open an ebay store to sell bookmarks, luggage tags and magnets - I am an expert laminator now!!

My mom is making me a Fish Extender. It pays to have a seamstress in the family - unfortunately the genes were not passed down!

I am not crafty at all so I think I will be buying a FE from that woman on Ebay thank you Carrey!

For the door decorations I never heard of magnetic paper before. Do you just print on it and it sticks to the door? If it is laminated does it still stick or do you not laminate? Thanks!

I am not really sure how the magnetic paper works. I was around $12 for 5 sheets of 8.5x11 (ouch!!) but it was inkjet only so it wouldn't work for me. I have never actually seen a sheet so I am not sure what the finish is like.

They turn out to be those really thin floppy magnets. I think you could also print regular sheets, laminate them and glue magnets to the back.

Thanks for the ebay link...we may end up doing that! Just a quick update, my DSs are 10 and 7. DD is 12. Have we decided to do gifts once, twice or more during the cruise?

I am going crazy keeping this cruise a secret from the kids. They'll find out on Christmas that we are going! We've already booked a couples massage on Monday, Palo for dinner on Tuesday and we chose the Historic Towns and Tequila making excursion in PV. For Cabo we plan on hanging out by the pier, doing some shopping and spending some time on Medano beach. There are a lot of threads on here that have good things to say about that beach.

I am soooo not crafty!! I am going to try to print on regular paper, bring the paper to Staples to laminate and buy some magnetic tape. Hopefully that will work.
