Have we decided to do gifts once, twice or more during the cruise?

It's up to you! You can do just one big gift and others can do smaller gifts every night.

I'm going to be doing just one bigger gift instead of many smaller gifts.

I just had to share this! My mom just finished our Fish Extender for me. We seem to have misplaced on of Mr Potato Head's Mickey Mouse gloves, but we are on the hunt!

All I had to do was show Mom a picture of an FE that I found on the net she did the rest!

I love my Mom!!!

I am game for a cut off of Thanksgiving also someone asked how often people were doing FE gifts - I have all my stuff already and enough for 12 cabins 7 days so for me every day

I hope everyone is doing well - this cruise will be here before we know it ! CANT WAIT

We're good for a Thanksgiving cutoff as well. Cool fish extender. Ours got something on it that won't come off so we ordered a new one off Ebay. Don't think we'll do everyday but we will probably do several days. Kate and I are still talking about it. Can't believe it's already November.

Well...mostly. Hubby has been before. There are 5 of us...Me (Stacie) Hubby (Mike) DD (12), DS (10) and DS (5). The kiddos and I have never never been on a cruise before so my hubby and I thought Disney would be an awesome first cruise! This is gonna be a surprise for the kids. We would love to be apart of the fish extenders...how do we sign up? We are in room 8036.

Hello!! We just booked our cruise last weekend, and are getting so excited about it! A friend told me about the DISboard, and I am really trying to catch up... My family of 7 are all cruising for the first time, and since we are all Disney nuts, a DCL was the obvious choice! I've looked into a DCL before, but booking for a family of 7, and plane tickets, etc. was overwhelming! I know the kids travel free deal may not be a favorite of everyone, but it's the only feasible way for us! Anyway, we would LOVE to get in on the FE- I'm a total newbie, but I see everyone is so helpful answering questions! DH- Jody, DM (me)- Brooke, DS Tate-12, DS Zane-10, DD Hope-8, DS Gage- 6, DS Cale- 4. Since we did the kids cruise free deal, we don't know which rooms we'll be in.

Hi there,

This is my first time on the board, and my first time on board a Disney Cruise.

My wife and I are going. We are both in our mid 20's and we have no kids yet.

We're looking forward to the cruise, but I'm not sure whether we should participate in the fish extender thing, since we don't have kids or anything. Can anyone give advice on whether it would be worth it to participate? (I realize "worth it" might not be a good way of looking at things, after all, it is more about playing the game that getting gain, right?) Do other single couples ever participate?

Oh yeah, and if any other similar couples are looking to team up for dinner tables, let me know. We have the late dinner. If not, we are just going to take our chances with being paired with people and see how it goes. We're pretty laid back and get along well with most people, so I'm not too worried. My biggest fear with getting random table-mates is getting paired up with someone who is going to complain or be a pest the whole time.

Hi! My husband and I are both in our late 20s, early 30s and we don't have kids either. This is our second Disney cruise and we participated in the FE last time and we're doing it again this time. It's not just for kids. It's really fun to come back to your stateroom and find all of the gifts that were left!

They'll probably put you at a table with other similar people. Last time, we were at a table with two other couples our same age.

Helllllooo! My boyfriend and I will be on this cruise as well...He is 25 and I am 27...it is good to see there will be a bunch of us around the same age! We have the late dining seating as well. Last cruise we did (Freedom of the Seas) we didn't do the main dining room but I am hoping this cruise we will do the dining.

Last time he couldn't find anyone to play a pickup game of basketball with (I am 4'10 soooo I am not the best player!) so maybe this time will be different!

Yeah, I'm glad about that as well.
It'll be something to keep our minds off the cruise.
And when it's all over, we'll only be a week away!

My wife and I do Disneyland ever year during the second or third week in January, but this time I surprised her by booking the cruise. Her birthday is on Christmas, so I was going to surprise her then, but after I'd booked it, I just couldn't keep it in, I was so excited.

And now she's so excited too!
