I'm hoping to head over to the same wine tasting Brack, we can head over there together after the DIS meet!

Jeanny~ the weather has been warming up down here in Florida.
The forecast for next week is beautiful, sunny and a high of 78 with lows of 56. It will be alittle cooler of course in Orlando and Port Canaveral, but this should be the weather for Key West at least. It looks great everyone!!

Keep it warm down there for us Northerns who are up here freezing.... it's flurrying, but it shouldn't accumulate. It's 36 with a wind chill of 25... bbbbbbrrrrrrr, I want YOUR low's!!!

Thanks Jeanny for pointing out the day. I was so wrapped up in telling where and what time I forgot to mention the day. The first day at sea seemed to be the best and that's Monday. Hope to see all of you there.

OK, I need to get serious now. I haven't even thought about packing yet and we leave on December 31st. Is anyone else a last minute packer like me?

Amy, I posted on the other thread, I'm just about done packing... Jacqui is just going up into the attic to get her luggage... she's always packing at the last minute.... I used to do that, but the old brain cells aren't what they used to be, now I need a packing list to check off.

Carolyn, congrats on your tag~ what a great Christmas present huh??

Before everyone leaves, make sure Brack or LVT has your family info if you want to include it on the shared list..

Are there any DH out there that are bringing along their golf clubs for a golf excursion? I have not decided yet - but if anyone knows how good the golf excursions are, I might be able to talk myself into it.

BRFGolfNut: I'm leaving my clubs home. It's too much weight to haul around.

I don't know about the golf excursions on the cruise but one of my dreams is to play the WDW courses. Maybe next time.

BRFgolfnut & Brack. I'm not taking my golf clubs either. Most of the golf excursions have fairly decent clubs for rent. If you are planning to golf, take your soft-spike shoes though I don't think the rental golf shoes are good. (I normally wear regular "walking" tennis shoes to play golf on level courses without problems.) I have done a couple of excursions when travelling with friends who golf. The costs are about what the other cruise lines charge. Haven't played golf on any of the stops that we have on this trip.

Think we may be able to get a 4-some up? Either Grand Cayman or Cozomel are good for me. I'm not very good (scores in the range of 110-125 normally) but I do like to see the scenery and have a good time with friends. The DW does not golf much and will probably want to spend time in the spa while I'm gone.


Carolyn, great news on the tag.

BRFgolfnut - If you want others to be able to contact you during or after the cruise, send an email to jancruise@dmv.com and provide info that you want on the cruise list I am creating. So far the list is fairly complete. (Real name, Others travelling with you name and age, cabin, city & state of residence and any other info you want any others to see.) As stated before, the info will be given only to cruise mates.


7 days from today at this time we will all be on the Magic. Cruise sail-a-way party begins in one hour.

I just watched the RCCL ship go by Two Palms. Now I am waiting for the Magic to pull out for the last time without me on it.
