Jan. 29, 2012 Dream cruise

I sure hope so! Although we've had a mild winter so far, it was 10 degrees this morning....I could really...really...use some warmth!!!!

After looking it up in my fahrenheit-celsius calculator I'm very pleased to hear the good news.
We had an unusually warm winter, too, the first snow fell the day before yesterday (usually we have snow from November on) but wind and rain aren't so great either, I really need sun. Hopefully it stays so warm...

Does anybody which movies will be shown?
I'm curious but not curious enogh to make an overseas call.

Got my info ups today!!! Yay!! So excited. I have A question. How soon after Che,ck in do they have your bags to your room?? Our check in is t 2:30. We have dinner reservations at palo at 7

I'm wondering how often the movies will play. And how many other activities will be going on at the same time.

Bags usually arrive on or before about 5pm from what I have read. Some people recommend if you have dinner ressies the first night to keep the outfit you want to wear on your carry on luggage.

Thanks. I was hoping I didn't have to pack dress clothes in my carry on. Oh well. Lol

Well I am all excited. My FE shipped today! I was getting a bit nervous it wouldn't arrive on time. I ordered from the same seller that I got a couple outfits for the kids from and my autograph pillowcases. The first two orders I placed were finished and shipped so fast.

I ordered my FE the first day we discussed having one and I was getting so nervous. I messaged her today to check on the status since we are just at a week out from when we'll leave for the Dream. She said she'd finish it up today and send it tomorrow.

On another note, I wasn't sure what side of the ship I was on and I spent probably ten minutes looking at stateroom maps for the Dream to figure out if my cabin is port or starboard. The post about the starboard side being a nicer view at CC is what had me curious. I finally gave up on finding it on a Disney stateroom map and googled which side is port left or right. :confused3

So yeah I am a bit silly but figured out per my answer on google that I am on the starboard side. :)

I had the same problem and will write it down here, as I will forget everything about board and starboard again: we are starboard, too :rotfl:.

Hi everyone! For anyone who was wondering for FE gifts, Kaden is a boy since Kaden could be a girl or boy name.

One more week!!!!!!

Left = Port (both have 4 letters, that how I remember)
Right = Starboard

For cabin numbers - if the number after your deck number is a 0 or 1 you are on the port side. If the number after your deck number is a 5 or 6 you are on the starboard side. If your cabin is very aft then that doesn't work for you but just remember you are very aft and get to see when we have just sailed. :rotfl:

As I sit here and look outside at the first snow of the year I'm really wishing for :sunny: :drinking1 :beach: :drinking1 :mickeybar

Wow you really have it down pat with the numbering and all. That will really help for locating the cabins for the exchange. :thumbsup2

It is funny you mentioned port and left having the same number of letters. I read that tip online when I was trying to figure it out. :surfweb: I was originally pricing a Dec '13 cruise in an extended verandah aft cabin when I came across this last minute Fl Resident deal for our sailing. Thanks for the help.
