Jan. 29, 2012 Dream cruise

Guest Services will not give out cabin numbers for security reasons.
For the one cruise that we did an FE, the person in charge delivered a final list of all cabins just before dinner the first night. If anyone had a change of cabin or late cabin assignment we were to leave a note on their door and they would change the final list before they delivered it. This made things very easy for everyone, especially if anyone is looking to upgrade at the port. So this might be something you will want to consider for this group.

Thanks for your insight and suggestions. I know since so many people have VGT rooms, they can change at any time so a good contingency plan for unexpected room changes it a good idea.

My post 228 is now updated with Tigger and Bubba's info.
If Sharon's family gets their assignment before we leave I will it but so far the plan is they don't get it until they are port, they will add the info to their gifts. JillJill also gave good advise about keeping posts it- or something similar to leave messages if need be.

I wonder if we can also use wave phones to update each other, or does the phone only call the other one assigned to the room?

I've been wondering this too. Count my kids in for candy. It is always fun trying things from new areas. I'm sure they'll be in Heaven. So excited to see more additions to our group. :) Anyone else as excited as I am (I am sitting here typing this while at work on a break so that might have something to do with it)? :cool1:

The wave phones can be used to call any phone on the ship.

I'm excited too. I think it will be a really fun perk to the trip. I also enjoyed doing a 'craft' for my FE which I haven't probably done since grade school.

im just saying....im ready to be on the boat already....this time in 13 days we will be floating around having a good time :)

Hi all! Hope you don't mind that I updated the list with our Disboard names (if you have one). I just wanted to be able to thank the appropriate people after the cruise...and sometimes its easier to remember Dis names. Just finished my prototype for the FE....and it came out better than expected!

Candy is more than welcome...even though I am not bringing my kids on this cruise!

I think it's a great idea to put our cabin numbers (in case they change) and our Dis names on our FEs!

Still trying to decide if I want to do anything in Nassau...may just stay on the boat and enjoy the ship...and the Aquaduck!!

Reminder - With Tigger & Bubba being in concierge you are going to have to coordinate a way to get their FE gifts to them since the gate is usually locked.

Hi there Cajuns!

Looking forward to meeting you all.

We will be traveling with two teen boys 14 & 15 years old. English is their second language so a very social young friend that speaks English would be a great practice for them! Most children are in school this time of year so I was concerned about them meeting guys their own age. (They are on Summer break).

See you soon....

Great news, Tigger & Bubba. I am sure they will likely meet up at Vibe.

Too cute...
Maybe enough of us can get together and make our own video on board...lol.

Is it locked? I thought after the first few voyages they did away with that.
I guess we can always call them though. :cutie:

Sweet-
Maybe I can get my husband to make a temp plate with this- along with a blank spot in case a room number gets changed.

If you aren't doing anything Nassau day- conditioner the champagne tasting. There is a few of us who are keen.

Hopefully it won't be an issue. My DH doesn't really drink so he wont be going, so he can watch ours if there isn't nursery time available.

i would think that a port day that the nursery may be fairly open...most people will go out to port, i would guess probably only 25-30% of the boat will pretty much stay onboard

Going on the 29th and I cant wait. This will be my first cruise ever!!
