For those delivering FE gifts.......

You may want to find a way to seperate by floor it can become over whelming........

You may want to do all of the ones on one end first then the other end then the middle using the elevators INSTEAD OF ALL ONE FLOOR at a time....

THis way you dont walk the entire length of the boat 7 times.

Although we seem to have alot on floor 6 and 7.

The snow is as high as the top of my DHs Ford F350 Super Duty! (This is the neighbors but you get the idea)

travel safe Chrisse when you do finally leave. My brother said the highway was not so enjoyable last night driving back from Edmonton to GP. I think you have a lot more snow then us but I sure hope we don't get anymore so please send it west instead of east.

Im scared to weigh my luggage as i may need a third once i do. I will put that off until tomoro

If there is a conditioner it is seperate, i just dont remember if they supply conditioner or not.

No baby items.

There is bar soap and shower gel.

Please be aware ( and i know alot of people love the DCL items, my DH included) it has a very weird smell....foresty, minty,manly i think....someone else who has smelled it can chime in....But it def AINT FOR EVERYONE!!!!

There is a SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, LOTION, and I think a BAR OF SOAP.
They use to do liquid body wash, but with cut backs only the suites get it. Now (Not a 100percent sure) I think all the suites are on deck 8 so if you have a room on that deck you MIGHT be able to talk you host(ess) into getting you one, since its stocked in thier area. our host did once. I know for sure you use to get ALOE but not now.
And YES it has a stronger "marine" smell. But I dont mind it so much any more. it's the Spa H20 brand, so it works pretty well.


As to Happy Limo they picked the store, but it was perfect.

Well all the clothes, flip-flops, and such ive ordered are now here. Took a few items in today to be altered....I'm short, I have to have alot of my pants hemed. but they will be done by thur. Tomorrow I finish packing, YEAH!
FE done I do agree with the sorting them by floors, it really dose help. I will do that as well tomorrow. My mom is still working on hers, she wont tell me what it is.... but she's been working on them for awhile now. My FE are going to take up a whole suitecase, or at least most of one! My bet is we'll have 7 bags, 3 backpacks, and 2 lg carry ons... holly cow thats going to be like $140 each way. I was adding up what are tips, excursions, photos, taxis, bingo, airport food, shooping, stuff like that...this is almost as bad as the price of the cruise...that wasn't the hard part, telling my DH the total was

THAT SNOW IS RIDICULES!!!!! I was looking at the 15 day forcast of our ports and orlando. looks like we might get a little rain here and there but mostly temps in the 70's.... I'm sure we are all ready for that

My train will be leaving in 8 hours, for my NYC pre-cruise trip, so I guess I'll talk to you onboard if we happen to show up at the same Meets!

I want to thank you a lot for these funny and educative posts, it certainly made my preparation easier! Well, not THAT easier, since I'm not not finished and I'll only get a few hours of sleep, but that's more because of my procrastination...

But maybe if 70%+ of the people on board use the good or manly smelling stuff our noses will become acclimated to it and the smell will only be recognized in our subconscious as a group odor, except for during the time the individual actually is using it. Kinda like those that wear way too much cologne or perfume but they don't notice it cause their nose has got use to smell and blocks it out. Just a deep thought while reading thread too late at night when I should be in bed. lol (Oh yeah, sticking on the shower/shampoo subject calls for another, probably my last chance to post the "three overly happy Smileys putting on shampoo in the shower".

Come on Lokka, you are holding out on us. You have to at least hit 300 pre-cruise posts. You are to darn close to a hitting the bit 3, not that there is any reward for it or that we want to see the next sentence with 22 words in it spread out over 22 postings. lol ok, no reward but how about a big smiley celebration for either answer the most of all the rest or our questions, or being so darn excited you couldn't stop thinking about the trip and were on here too much.

I am so excited! I do not think I have ever spent even 1/5 of the time I have spent reading up on, researching, getting magnets, FEs, and getting ready for this trip. I honestly think I have spent more hours preparing for this trip than the hours I will be awake on this trip. That is crazy. All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...

Sorry guys i am tooo tired to do anythng else but sit here sooo....

For those of you who have NOT been.....

Tips i can think of...........
1. If you plan on taking motion sickness meds take them about 4 hours before you get on the ship.

2. Where do you put all that luggage......After you empty your luggage, one person hold up the bed and the other slide your luggage under the bed...You will have troubel finding spot for luggage if you dont do this.

3. If you still need more room.....ask your room stewart to take the large stool out of your room...it i basically the chari to the desk....BUT WILL YOU REALLY NEED A DESK ON YOUR CRUISE???

4. IF YOU LOVE THE soap products and want more ask for them they only replenish half way through the cruise as they are fairly large sizes.

5. If you have a window or a verandah put a alrge sticker or something ont he window so you know your rooms from out no other reason excpet that it is cool to take a picture of your room from OUT of the ship.

6. IF you happen to get intoxicated.....DO NOT LOOK DOWN atr the carpet as you walk through a long hallway!!!!!

Chrisse, holy moly!!!! Do you need to shovel a path for your dog??? My golden retriever loves the snow but we need to shovel a path for him. Everyone thinks we are crazy! I will say our snow is right now up to our mailbox...right under the box. I can't imagine it even more!!!

GiddyRhino, I apparently jinxed it. We got some snow last night and it's supposed to get icey this morning. The kids around here don't have snow...and while it's not Canadian snow....people act like they have never seen snow before! Ugghh! I don't think it is too bad though and the city should be cleaned up. Enjoy your trip!

FabFivePA, PLEASE let me know how Mary Poppins is!!! DD is obssessed with Mary Poppins. We've watched it hundreds of times. It's funny because it's the only movie she'll watch. I'm not sure if she'll sit through the show yet but it might be a fun birthday present for her if she sits through the shows on the cruise.

Two more days until we leave! Started packing and it's going slow. We're already 3 large suitcases and a backpack for each of us with 1 carryon. Thankfully DH travels a lot too, so we get unlimited suitcases and weight without a charge.

Is the shampoo and conditioner in the cabins seperate or is it a 2 in 1 type? I assume that there are no children/baby shampoo/soaps supplied? Is there shower gel or just bar soap?

Chiming in! i LOVE the way that stuff smells! I just can't stand the fact that I can't use the shampoo & conditioner, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the soap and lotion (which is a nice thick one)!

I am sooo excited i am about to cry......

OH MY that means i will probally cry this time when we sail away.

Me too!! I cried last year when that darn horn blew. Of course, I also cry everytime we go to WDW and I walk in that gate for the first time!

Good tips! I would also add to try SeaBands before meds, just because they don't make you tired. Thanks for tip #2! Last year I remembered people saying to put them under the bed, but there wasn't an under! Didn't realize until a few months ago that you had to lift them...
