We're considering a USO trip Jan 1-3 departing on the 4th and I have a few questions.

1. How busy is the first week of the year? I know the WWoHP is crazy pretty much any time of the year, but I'm wondering about the rest of the resort.

2. Are there certain days of the week that are slower than others? Jan 1-3 falls on Tue, Wed, and Thurs.

3. If we do go that week and stay offsite, are 3 park days enough without FOL access?

The last time we were at Universal was 1995. We've been to WDW 4 times since then but our DD and I are thrill junkies and it's time to experience the thrills USO has to offer.

1. How busy is the first week of the year? I know the WWoHP is crazy pretty much any time of the year, but I'm wondering about the rest of the resort. Last year it was busy until around 1/8 but then the crowds slowed down. It's a guess of what it's going to be this year. I would say guessing...moderate to busy? There's just no way to tell.

2. Are there certain days of the week that are slower than others? Jan 1-3 falls on Tue, Wed, and Thurs. Sundays are usually the best days to go but during the week is good too. Just stay away from Friday and Saturday.

3. If we do go that week and stay offsite, are 3 park days enough without FOL access? Yes...three days should be plenty of time to see and do everything you want.
