I booked a package on Monday and was not told about the insurance. I called yesterday to cancel and that's when the CM told me that I had insurance. She quickly apologized when I told her I didn't know what she was talking about.

If it wasn't disclosed to you ask to speak to a manager and see if they can pull up your recorded phone conversation. I just did this with another insurance company about an upcoming cruise. In my situation I was actually wrong and had written down the wrong date, but your's could be different.

Ours, too - 1/30-2/6. I've read that dining reservations go back to 180 days on Oct 27th - therefore park hours must be posted that far in advance, too. If you don't know which park you'll be in, how can you make dining plans? So both will be posted on 10/27 for the next 6 months.

Ok I just had a cm ask me tonight when I asked for an odd#'d room on the 11th floor at CR, if I was a little OCD. I replied nope just a disser. LOL. I have an adr question. My check in date is 1-20 when I count back 90 days it is 10-23, however i have now been told two different things by 2 CM's one said 10-26, the other said 10-27. I am obviously wanting to get in befor the whole world goes to 180 on the 27th so do you think that they were wrong and I should try to do it on 10-23 because I am so close to that date they are just telling me 10-27??? I hope this makes sense

according to this site: http://pscalculator.net/allearsnet/pscalcae.php it would be 10/22. Which makes sense since today you can book 12/31. So add 20 to today date 10/2 and the result is 10/22. Lucky you!! I think the CM just are getting confused about the switch to 180 days and that's why they told you 10/27.

persistence pays off. I checked the disney website again last night for the 4/3 deal and 2 bedroom villas are available!!!! There were several available at different resorts (I started calling last week and the only 2bdrm villas were at SSR). We were already at BLT, but I upgraded us to theme park view and did the myw package with dining/park hoppers. All in all, we saved $600!! Yeah!

Our trip starts January 24, the CM told me I can make adr on October 26....can I make them earlier? Is it going to be crazy on this day due to the new 180 day?

10/26 is great, they will change to the 180 days on 10/27. So you are able to do your ADRs on the last day before that!

i thought I saw it previously...but does anyone remember what the AP discounts were for marathon week last year?

Right now we're booked at Pop at rack rate but I have an AP. I kinda remember reading that it would be almost the same price to stay at a Mod if I used the AP discount?

Not sure about marathon week, but I went during MLK weekend last year and there were no AP discounts at the value resorts for Fri/Sat/Sun, so rack rate was $92 a night for a standard room (extra $10 for weekend). They released an AP discount for moderate rooms for that weekend and I paid $99 a night at PO-FQ. Well worth paying a couple of extra dollars for a better room. (The disocunt for the moderates was $89 a night, but $99 a night for the weekend nights.)

I didn't go marathon weekend so I can't say if there were any discounts but according to my notes the discounts for AP's were:
Value $33 off rack rate
Moderate $60 off rack rate
Deluxe $96 off rack rate

2010 AP discounts aren't out yet. In the past it has been late October-right around Halloween.

Can someone give me an idea of what the room-only discount was for mods and values last year for the last week of Jan? I see that code was released in early Dec, but I can't find an idea on pricing.
