We are booked January 3-9 at WL Club Level. I just called today to add a couple days on to our reservation due to the buy 4 days get 3 free deal. Well, no deal. They are fully booked. The CM said the only resort that is available now is Boardwalk CL during that week(another 1000 dollars more than WL). So disapointed. Now what? It used to be a relatively quiet week, and everywhere is fully booked? Wow.

Also remember that Jan 8-10 is Marathon Weekend, which always fills up the resorts, but has very little impact on the park attendance. I wasn't even able to get a standard room at CSR four months out, at rack rate.

My original ressie was room only Jan 20-27 CR tower room with MK view and no trip insur. My total was 3465.00
Now Jan 20-27 CR tower room with MK view, 10 day parkhopper, Regular meal plan total is 4488.09

Thanks for your feedback everyone! Just an update, we did call back tonight, and we ended up switching to BWI CL. So now we have to start from scratch and start reading all the reviews and looking for pics of CL Boardwalk. Sigh...work work work

Well, we applied the 5/2 promo and saved $400!

I have debated on upgrading to POR to save $300 more (we'd go from 2 rooms at POP to 1 at POR) but the thought of 4 beds instead of 2 (plus troendle) for our family of 5 and two bathrooms instead of one is overruling the cost savings! Besides our kids will be 11, 8 & 4 and I think that POP will be way more fun for them!

My sister and I are doing (I say doing instead of running 'cause all we want to do is finish!) the half marathon in January. We've had our reservations for two months now and I've been watching these forums closely. I noticed over the weekend the headsup on the possibility of the 4+3 deal and made a mental note to check on Tuesday. Well, with nursing school, work, raising the moody teenager, all while my hubby's in Iraq, that mental note went out the window!

I just happened across here today and was reminded.

I called and now we're going an extra day longer than we planned and still saved $300!!! I'm so happy!!! This will be my husband's first trip to WDW ever. My daughter's first trip too. I haven't been since our senior band trip in 1988. I'm so happy!!!!

I just told the cm what happened on the last call that that cm said they were not coming out until tommorow then I told him that I saw it on DIS and people were allready booking he said oh and then got it done for me I was so excited I accidently hung up on him, then called right back and got the whole deal done!!!! omg omg I can't believe it!!!!!

P.S. One thing I learned on the DIS - Never believe what just one CM tells you - always call back. LOL!

Don't forget if you call to make sure you don't end up with travel insurance it you don't want it. They have a tendency to quote with it included. If you hang up and then realize they put it on, you can't take it off.

I only mentioned it because I made ressies yesterday, a package, and she slipped in a comment about it very quickly when discussing something else, as if I had wanted it and I insisted I didn't. Mousesavers is where I read you can't cancel insurance once you hang up, so maybe you should at least try and see what happens.

I thought you had like a week or something to take it off. I booked my package & then called back 2 days later to have it removed and they did it.
