ok so i am about to jump out of my skin and i have to go to work (it is the disney store though).

I just spoke to my AAA agent and she said they have a conference call with Disney in an hour about the Biggest and Best Sale!!!!!!!!! She said it will prob start tomorrow and She is going to call and leave me a message about what it is. I will be back around 6:30 and let you all know!!!!!!

I did a survey the other day about this I think, It was for a new commercial. It was stay 4 nights and get 3 nights free, and it had dates through out the year. Plus a Gift card for a certain amount. Not sure this is what everyone is waiting for but it could be. It had my dates, so I hope it is true!! But we will see... Good Luck everyone!!

Biggest deal ever?

So, how does this work? I have a TA. Does he just do everything for me? And what do you all mean by "price things out?" If I know for certain we want nothing more than to stay a POP and have dining, does that just mean i take whatever deal comes out for POP and that's that? Or does it sometimes work out better to upgrade?

Forgive the questions from this Disney newbie. The promise of something big tomorrow has me feeling nervous...like I'm missing something! Is it possibel to miss out on the deal?

Holy COW!!! I'm completely freaking out now!! Mousesaver says HUGE deal in first 1/2 of 09!! Not only are we going as a family in January but DH and I are going alone in March!!

We are renting points for our trip in January, so I know that a code for lodging won't help us much....but we haven't bought tickets yet and I'm wondering if there was any code that I should be hoping for? We do need to book our first night at Pop and we're going to do the dining plan....so, should I get excited or is a code not really going to help me anyway??

I will try to answer. I do not think this code will help you. The ticket portion of a pkg. will not be discounted unless they are going to offer the the free upgrade to water park and more. You would need to do the MYW pkg for one night and add the tickets to that one room. The bad thing is usually disney requires a 3 night minimum on a pkg. for any discount to apply.

I would be looking for a great room only rate and purchase my tickets through the ticket discounter that can be found through mousesavers. I will PM you the last newsletter with that link. The newsletter comes out the 15th of every month so if you sign up for the newsletter you will get a new one on 12/15 with the latest ticket deals.

I am sorry you did not receive a response to your question when you posted it previously. To my knowledge, disney has never offered a discount (code) on just tickets. When I have rented pointed from DVC owners, I have always purchased my tickets through a ticket broker, usually undercover tourist, as it usually saves a few bucks from buying through Disney directly. I have found that by signing up for the newsletter at mousesavers that I get the best price on tickets through undercover tourist as they often offer special discounts to mousesavers newsletter members through a special web link through the newsletter. I hope this helps! Enjoy your trip! Renting points is a great way to experience a wonderful WDW resort at a discount price!

Yes. If you go through the Mousesavers newsletter to Undercover Tourist, you'll get a discount and good service. Remember that the UT prices include tax and shipping; Disney doesn't include either.
