Jan 2009 Code Watch

Yah, please leave your political talk for the community boards. I am Canadian and sick to death of the election and feuds over it. I don't need a constant reminder about it in a disney code thread.

I did not intend to imply that Obama has won, is going to win or make any other political statement. I sleepily mentioned Obama only as an aside to the fact that I has the opportunity to sleep in, but DISNEY haunted my brain and I forced myself to get up and check for codes.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
sheesh!

:grouphug: I think everyone's nerves are a little on edge, this thing has gone on so long and everyone's so passionate about their pick.

Any guesses as to the timing of the code? We have the Jimhillmedia guess, but that site's rumors are sometimes inaccurate.

OMG - I think some folks frustrations over NOT getting a code is getting to them. Relax - there is no fueding or anything like that.

I just asked a question - with sincerity - thought something had happened that I hadn't heard about yet.

Sheesh is right!

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I wonder if they are holding off a few days to see if the economy perks up with the election. Doesn't it sometimes have issues before election day - then after comes up a bit?

I think so. If nothing else, rolling out a code today wouldn't get much attention at all. I'm betting on Thursday, Friday, or Monday. Probably Thursday for Visa, then Friday for GP.

You know what is funny, if you go to disneyworld.ca (and not just today, even the past few days), it says you can't make a reservation for 2009 yet. It has never been updated.

This just came out for Florida residents...could this mean more codes are on the way????

Those rates have been out since last Wednesday. Or was it Thursday? Either way it was last week.

Edit: It was Thursday. 10/30.

Hmmm...MouseSavers has it in red as being updated today. Wasn't it the AP codes that came out last Wednesday or Thursday, not the Florida resident code?

AP rates came out Wednesday, Florida resident rates came out Thursday, and the update that MouseSavers did today was for a Tinkerbell DVD.
