two house payments are killing us. no code no go. I really need my trip its been over a year now.

us too! No GREAT discount code, no go! I just went in Sept for free dining... it was wonderful. I'll take free dining again.

I would much rather NOT have free dining. The PH and More upgrade with a room discount sounds wonderful to me, though.

No, it doesn't include dining but that's ok b/c dining doesn't work for us. I've looked at all the menus at the restaurants where we usually eat and the kids' options are really limited. I've found places that serve pizza, hot dogs & burgers, but none of those are on the kid's menu! So kids can't order them using the dining plan.

We're going January 18-25th.

No codes in the Mousavers newletter I recieved today. It did say that you have to book by Oct. 18 for the fall savings - so maybe our codes will come out after that.

Hoping for free dining (maybe from Visa again), upgrades on tickets, and room discount. Would like all three, but one of them would be great, too. I'm not going to be picky.

So if you have already booked for a Jan 09 reservation and can apply a code when they come out, do you get charged for it? Because don't they charge you if you "downgrade" your reservations to any extent that it costs you less in the end?

No they don't charge you for applying a code.

Last year the Canadian code came out on Oct 19th, which would be the equivelent to FRIDAY the 17th this year (Oct 19th was a Friday). The general public codes came out shortly after.
I am only after a good room discount this year (hoping better than AAA rate I have, but I am happy with that if that is all I can get). I am hoping for those $99 mod rates!

If you want to cancel or change your resi you have to do it more then 45 days before your trip begins with no charges. The charges increase the closer you get to arrival date. I hope this helps. Is it really worth going through AAA? I like control of everything that goes on with my trip and I have heard people had bad expierences with AAA.

The 45 days applies only if it's a package. If you book room only, you can change your reservation without penalty up to 6 days before your first day there. But even within that 45 days, if there's a code, I believe you can apply it without charge.

I made my room reservation today and asked if I could roll it into a package later on (in case a good code comes out). The agent said 'if it is available'...she couldn't tell me for sure if I'd be able to. She just kept saying 'if the package is available'. I understand if it is within the 45 day window I'd have to pay for it in full, but she didn't seem to know. I have definately noticed that you get different answers from different agents

I now really need a code. I've decided other then going with BF for New Year's. I'm taking a solo trip, but only if there is an AP code or really good package discount (like free dining)
