Just settling back in after a very nice and enjoyable cold week and disney, coming from -13 the night we left cant complain.
It was a 4 person trip for us myself, pregnant DW who cant ride alot of rides this time, SIL 1st trip and 2 yr old DD 3rd trip.
Arrived on time with excited DD and overwhelmed SIL surprised by the amount of excited adults and children on magical express. Room wasnt ready like every other trip we have taken but not a real issue, we stayed at SSR 2 bedroom and ended up having a nice lunch at the resturant until room was ready. Went to ddd to wander and in bed early.
Day 2 Jam packed bus at sprigs stopped arrived at 10am and wow did we pack a day in before pooh dinner at crystal palace at 5. Dumbo 2 times, Buzz 2 times, Pooh 6 times, Teacups 3 times, Small world 3 times, Aladin 2 times, Jungle cruise 1 time, Peter an 1 time, all of our first time on that and not a big fan. Space mountain and a Parade. 1st time pin got SIL some extra attention and pics at mickeys house and with dwarfs.Snuck in a dole whip and a funnel cake as well. DD and SIL into comas by 730 pm
Day 3 Met Friends in Orlando, Myself and SIL hit pleasure island for few driniks that turned into few too many.
Day 4 Hollywood studios in the am, again a cutthroat bus stop, fastpasses for toystory and hit playhouse disney show. SIL and I hit aerosmith and tower of terror while DW &DH did frozen outdoor beauty and the beast. Hit the prime time cafe for the usual reunion with family and yummy friend chicken and DD loved making hr own sundae. Back to resort for naps and a WALL-E viewing and an boat trip for some ice cream at DDD.
Day 5 Early rise for tusker house donald breakfast at 850, perfct time for us, the rest of family stay seated. Wandered out to get safari fast pass for after meal. Not to impressed this time with food, looking for good breafast buffet. Safari good as usual is that darn lion ever moving and them silly poachers as my DD calls them. Wandered to dinoland and got fast passes for everest, 1st time for me and SIL and really enoyed it. Sadly tri spin was closed and very chilly. Went to boneyard and camp minnie mickey for few pics and back to SSR @ 3pm. DD wide awake SIL almost needed to be carried. Surprsed SIL and DW with spa day and took DD to the grosly overrated and expensive but loved by dd rainforest cafe.
Day 6 Back to the magc kingdom for a really laid back day of wandering and trying new things. Tried snow white for 1st time with dd and freaked her out. 6 more pooh trips mixed in with everything atleast once and 20 min halt to small world right under the pink elephant due to some technical issues which is still stuck in my head. Hit tonys for 1st tme for lunch and was very enjoyable with very large portions, kept 1 eye out window for chip an dale to head back out which got us inline for only 5 min wait.
Day 7 Epcot our only strained day. Nemo and soarin in the morning. A nice relaxing journey around the world and back to nemo and the aquarium and lunch in mexico. DD loves giant train set and stared for about 25 mins ans didnt want to leave big ole tantrum that was stopped by mcdonalds nuggets a hit anywhere in the world. I swear there is some drug in it for kids. Calmed and tucked away after bubble bath
Day 8Early mornin flight, so headed to artist pallette and had counte service than right on time magical express but the major downfall of trip 9 am flight delayed til 341 pm 8 hours in airport with 2 yr old priceless.
In summary great trip no wait times, good food, 1st time under budget, think we hooked a 1st timer for a return trip or 2.
Few complaints: Lot of rude peeps, line cutting, packed buses and going to front of line. Comedy show at pleasure island same for 5 yrs and needs updating or changes. Why are rooms never ready and why is it 2nd trip in a row I hit record colds and no swimming. Sorry for rambling...Plannin surprise mothers day trip soon
