Jan 13, 2008 Wonder anyone?

I'll be there!!!! DH and I are taking a quick getaway without our 3 year old DS. Should be lots of fun!

Have you been on DCL before? We're going with our DS who will be 23 months on the cruise and sis in law and fam.. her kids are 2, 4 and 7

Yep, we've been on DCL before. This will be number 8 for me and number 7 for DH. Our son has already been 4 times. We love it! We decided to leave him at home for this one so DH and I can enjoy all of the adult stuff without wondering if DS will stay in Flounder's/Club. Can't wait!

I'm going on the Jan 13th cruise too. I have 2 kids, 7 & 9 years. I hope it's lots of fun. I am worried a little about the kids being separated into different camps.

Welcome. Are your kids boys or girls? My 7yr old neice will be with us as well as my 4&2 yr old nephews and my 23 mo old son.

I will be on the 1/13 cruise with my two DD's 10 and 6. This is our first cruise ever so we are excited and nervous. I am a little worried about having the girls split into different clubs. Guess i'll have to wait and see!

My kids are both boys. This is our first cruise and we are excited too. We have a cruise countdown calendar and we are marking the days off.

Hey Dpell, we could get our kids together and then hey will have friends to play with. I'm nervous about my kids being in 2 different camps too. You too Jessieknj with your nieces and nephews.

This board is really cool. You can meet friends before you even get there.

Hey!! WE're also going on the 01/13 cruise!!!
We are a party of 5, with 3 girls (16,14,11)
Hope to see ya'll there!!!!!

We're on the Wonder for 1/13/2008 - first cruise - our 30th wedding anniversary. Party of 5. No little ones - just oldies, except for my daughter who is 28. There were supposed to be 7 of us, but my son and his are expecting and so had to cancel. She is due 02/22/2008 but the doctor expects her to go earlier because of previous complications (two miscarriages). I just hope she holds on until we get back so I can see my first granddaughter's birth!!!!! Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us.

I just booked this cruise. All together there will be 5 couples-no kids(though I only know 1 other couple). this will be my 6th disney cruise. cant wait especially since it is being booked so last minute.

Ill be there with my DH for our first cruise. We will be celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary and we are coming all the way from AUSTRALIA!!!!
i am getting on a plane in 20 days.....I have been counting down from 368 days!

This is our first every cruise! I am very excited but DH is not as pumped. His idea of fun is a beach, not a boat where he has to wear pants and (gasp) real shoes to dinner! LOL! We have three boys, ages 4, 5, and 7. They are very excited too! We have been to Disney twice in the past two years b/c we loved it so much. I have been wanting to cruise forever!

I am still trying to make arrangements for transportation and our day in Nassau. We fly in to Orlando Sat and I think we are going to rent a car.

We want to do Atlantis for Nassau but I think I am going to book a room. We have 5 so that is too many for the Comfort Suites. We have been to Jamaica quite a bit so I am not into the beach sellers. Also, we braved the rougher/deeper waters at Turks Beaches so I don't want to be stuck on that part of the beach. I have heard conflicting info from reading (way too many) posts at this time. But, even the thought of a 20 min bus tour of Nassau that I don't really want, a possible rough waves, short shelf beach and the long walk back to the bus with sand in my pants, really has me thinking of buying a room at Atlantis! Also, if it is a red flag day I want to be able to enjoy the pools!

I would love to hear from others that are going our week or any with experience with this whole Nassau Atlantis thing. I hate to pay so much for ONE DAY. lol!

Hi all!

We've done the parks a lot, but this will be our first cruise... We have the same concerns about splitting DD (7) and DS (10) into different groups, but hopefully all will go well.

I read about the Comfort Suites thing here, so we also booked a room there for the day in Nassau... even though it will be around $250 with cab fares it seemed like a much better deal since we'll have full access to the Atlantis amenities.

...just read that there is no lobster on board - gotta say, I'm kind of disappointed about that. OTOH I won't have to worry about being able to see the playoff games since the Steelers lost the other night :(

We're going and it's our first cruise too... we booked a room at CS... actuall 2 since we're travelling with another family. You should call CS and see if you can get a day pass type thing through them for your extra person.

We went ahead and booked a room at Atlantis even though it was twice the cost of CS. I hated to do it since our 5th person is only four years old and not tall (or brave) enough for the waterslides anyway! I had heard from other posters that I could do the CS and just not get him an armband and he would probably be fine. But, I didn't want to stress out about it and have to sneak around. I want this cruise to be relaxing and easy! I am hoping DH will love it so we can cruise more! I have my eye on a 2009 cruise in Hawaii with friends that are already booked. I just have to get DH "on board"! LOL! My DS is 7 but he will be in the club with his 2 brothers (which he is actually not excited about). He wanted to be bumped to the Lab but OC looked more fun (to me) so he is staying back.

Hmm... is it possible to bump them to the older group? DD is 7 but wants to go with her 10 year old brother.
