Jan 13-16: NAHB International Builder's Show

Well, I thought this might be of interest to anyway who is planning on being in WDW around this time.

The International Builder’s show is going to be held in Orlando January 13-16, 2005. I work for a rather large home building company and so of course tons of people are going. A lot of those people are also tacking on days both before and after the show to spend time at the parks.

One of my co-workers just called to get a room and found the pickings slim (but she’s staying concierge at the Beach Club so it can’t be that bad). You may have noticed that the discounted rates for January did not include this time frame. I have to say that I’m guessing the builder show is why.

Anyway, since this is normally a dead time a year I thought that I should let people know about the show so that they can be prepare for possibly having large than normal for January crowds.

Thanks for the warning! We are going Jan. 12-16, but we won't be in the parks on the 16th. Maybe most of the conference attendees will go to Disney AFTER our trip!

I should have thought to post that info as well. My company will be exhbiting at the Builder's Show and we've got three rooms booked up there for the week. Judging from attendance at last year's show (in Vegas), Orlando will be crowded!
