Ok so we were going to try and go the first week of dec but now we are thinking the 1st of Jan so we can still see all the holiday stuff how are the crowds from jan 1st to the 6th is it still crazy or not to bad ?

Any other tips we have been to Disneyland only during Halloween treat so far.
How is the weather in Jan ?

Thanks

Still crazy. Lots of families out of school and everyone knows that the holidays come down the week after the new year so anyone else wanting to see the holiday facade but not able to go in December will be there as well.

I'll be there too!:cheer2:

We flew in on 1/1 in 04, and 05, and had great times. Very managable crowds,,,,,,,however sounds like it may have gotten busier in the last few years. It still is a great time to go if you can't do early Dec.

We planned on the 9-13 bc the first wk is still busy & the following week is a conference & early closing (I think?).....this is what I was told by fellow dissers. ALSO got my suite cheaper bc we rescheduled from the following week. So it was meant to be as far as I'm cioncerned!;)

So the holiday decor is up past the 6th they just do not do the holiday parade and fireworks?

The holiday decorations come down pretty quickly after the 6th. I would say they should all be gone by the 9th. However, IASWH will stay up until around Jan 20, when it will close for 10 months.

Yeah they have the parade and fireworks listed on the website going untill the 6th. so I think I will be safe if we go before the 6th we will not be able to ride many rides since we will have both kids with us and no help so the crowds may not bug us to much.
Guess we will see.
