Good morning :) I wasnt sure how to up date the list that was sent out. We are from Florida. My age is 39 and Christopher is 35 we are engaged but not married. You can put our name under Stringer thats me. And we are celebrating our sons birthday baby Christopher who will turn one while on the cruise

Hi Angelina,

Great, I'll do the official updates. Posting the FE info, updates and changes here on the DIS is PERFECT :thumbsup2

:cake:WONDERFUL ... A cruise birthday. Our DD13 Sabrina had her 5th Birthday on Magic. What day is your son Christopher's Bday?
This morning I've been going through recent thread posts, PMs and emails. I'll update the :goofy: Goofy FE list and send it out again later today.

Hi....I didn't get my question answered but was still wondering about saving space at the pools areas and getting personalized towels made. *smile*

I believe the official answer is you can't pre-save a chair. Unofficial, yes, people do block seating. I could see using personalized towels to save your chairs while you or the family is in the pool... or maybe grabing a burger or wonderful drink of the day. :)

I gues it depends on style and luggage space.

Thanks for the perspective.

one of the latest families, cidalia5, has a set of twins, Myles and Lexie; is Myles a boy or girl? Sorry for the silly question, but I really don't know. :confused3

Hey guys! I am finalizing my FE gifts! Yay! What were the cabin numbers of the GTYs? I think it was taylor4651, princess mindy, and cherry75. Thanks!!

I think I've caught all the GTY cabin numbers and posted them on the three FE lists on the first post of this thread.

I've also been adding the cabin numbers to the Special Celebrations section for all the DIScruisers on the thread.

Whitney - Here are the ones you asked about:
cherry75 - 6142
taylor4651 - 7690
princess mindy - 6022

I'll be sending out a revised :donald: Donald FE list that we have the last cabin numbers

I am fairly confident I am NOT doing this correctly because I joined Disboards for the sole purpose of finding this Group because of a referral from Beth F.

Lise, per your request, I am trying to add my info to the goofy FE and I greatly appreciate the ad as it is officially closed.

Thank you for adding me to the group and the very warm welcome.

Congratulations on both your engagement and your MBA. I can't think of a better way to celebrate both! As for whether my husband or I will be up late, well that remains to be seen. But we may meet you at a random happy hour.

I'm not sure I can exactly tell you. It was 2009. Just as you walk into town it was on the right. Lots of glass and marble or something classy... air conditioned, too. It looked like a makeup dept from a department store and they had a jewelry department also. It had that clean look of a duty free shop, but as they didn't deliver the items to the ship, I guess they can't be Duty Free??

I alway go to the DCL Shopping Tips talk. I find it fun and they share specials and the stores DCL stands behind. This can be important if you're planning to shop in Cozumel.... when the street vendors will assure you it's "almost real gold" and the next says their "gold" chains are "almost free" :rotfl2:

I hope that helps

LOL!! Thank you for the information.

:wave2: Hey there! Welcome back!

I tend to be up late and wandering the ship. So perhaps I will catch y'all in a lounge.

PS- Thursday Night (our 2nd sea day) is NFL Kickoff. :cool1: and while I'm not a fan of either the Packers or Seahawks...I will still be having a :drinking1 and watching the game (in O'Gills or Funnel Vision wherever they air it) should anyone care to join me! :happytv: party:

We're from the NW so mandatory Seahawk fans (unless the Patriots are playing!) We're at Palo for dinner, but even I can make that last as long as a football game. I'm thinking we'll see you there :happytv: :drinking1

You're here just in time. Make sure your boys check out the KIDS ONLY - Aug 30 2014 ~ Fantasy ~ 7-Night Western thread

I think you did great with the FE info ... All I really need for the :goofy: Goofy FE is your email to send you the list.

If you feel like sharing ... posting your family name and home town/state would be fun. Do you have any special celebrations?

Lise

Nice to know there will be some people up later, I'll try to make it to the meet and greet. :thumbsup2 It's always a good sign when you're taking someone that hasn't been on DCL before and they're already looking at navigators thinking of what they want to do:cool1:! That being said I have a question for people who have been on more recently:

Does anyone know the going rates for Bingo packages? Is there ever like an "all Cruise" bingo package that makes it cheaper to buy up front? I've only ever played bingo once and that was Y-E-A-R-S ago (and influenced by my beer mug)

In other news, if anyone is still looking for alternative means of transportation to the port I highly recommend Tiffany Town Car (tiffanytowncar.com). Their rates are reasonable AND they include a stop on the way. This is key if you're like me and have your nalgene bottle and need to stop for the Cap'n to fill 'er up, Or if you want to pick up groceries/snacks.

Or vanilla rum :drinking1

I see that there is still a change to join a fish extender group for this cruise. How do I join?

mkozel - I need your info ASAP. People are already ordering their gifts and need your details, if you are joining the fun! - Lise

Info needed is listed below:

:welcome: mkozel :welcome:

:cool1: I think we can sneak you in on the :goofy: Goofy FE if you can get me you info on Saturday.

Please post...
  • First name for everyoone in your cabin
  • Ages for the kids (or everyone)
  • Family name
  • Cabin Number, when you get it
  • Hometown / State (is nice to know)

  • Your email so I can send you the list. (you can spell out "at" and "dotcom" if you don't have enought posts yet to include an email address)

:) here's a recent thread with some price info: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3292048&highlight=bingo+prices

From what I recall the prices mentioned there were the same ones on the Dream when we were on a few months ago. ...

I'm glad DH Chuck isn't on the DISboards. He's bust me for saying we're Seahalk fans. My hubby is actually a diehard Pats fan... he did cheer for the Seahaws once the Pats were out for the season:cool1:
