Whoo hoo I got the email/FE list!!!! Now this might sound like a dumb question but can someone help me with all the abbreviations please DH, DW and others.... I don't know what they are heeellpp

DH/DW mean "Dear Husband/ Dear Wife" (or Disney)

Basically just online forum short hand for saying husband or wife or daughter (DD) or son (DS) etc..

I'm excited to join! Myself, my husband, 2 daughters (1 month and 3 yrs), and both parents will be cruising with y'all. I hope to join the FE but unsure how at this point. Any pointers and help will be much appreciated.

We are celebrating our 6 year wedding anniversary, my husbands 35th birthday, and my mothers 60th birthday. I look forward to meeting everyone!!!

Is anyone else going to the parks before the cruise? DH and I were planning on staying at the airport Hyatt and going to DTD. I checked rates and realized round trip cab to DTD would be $110! So, I figured if we stayed at POFQ we would save $49.... Perfect! Then my husband mentioned going to Epcot for the day instead, of course I prefer that idea!! Then I suggested we stay at an Epcot Resort, he said "no" so I said ASsp because we would save $89 than if we stayed at POFQ and that $89 would would cover all but a few dollars of on of our Epcot tickets. So I thought I had it all figured out then he said he doesn't know if he wanted to stay there. So, for the past couple of days I have been convincing him that we should stay at BC.... YAY!!

We were planning to stay at the Hyatt as well, but just changed it up and decided to drive instead of fly and head down a day earlier. My DD has been begging to stay at AOA so we booked 2 nights! Have been contemplating tacking on MK for a day but we may just hang at the resort and recover from the overnight drive. But DH would rather we go back to the Poly or Lodge and we would def. do MK then. hmm, decisions decisions... lol

We are we arrive on 17th, staying 3 nights at all star music followed by 10 nights at AKV. We are planning 3 MK days, 2 HS days, 2 epcot days, 1 AK day, 2 water park days and 2 resort days - can't wait xx

Hi everyone!! So DH and I are staying at POR the night before the cruise, yay!!! We were going to stay at Hyatt and then take a cab to and from DTD but I found that would be $110 round trip so we would save $49 by staying at POR, it's a no brainer.

Anyways, has anyone done this itenerary before? If so, what are the "must do" things in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth? We would like to visit a nice beach area and try some local cuisine.

You are going to have a great time. We use to live in SoCal and spent plenty of time in Huntington Beach.

Are you celebrating anything on this cruise? Would you like to join the FE gift exchange?

Don't worry about the boat being full, it always seems like there's lots of room and Fantasy is 1-1/2 times the size of the Disney ships we've been on before, Wonder and Magic. We've found some of the lounges are nearly deserted much of the time. Is this your first disney cruise?

Yes I have cruised Disney before. We have been on the Fantasy once during September 2012 And I have been on the Alaska Cruise 2009.

San Diego... cool! I grew up in San Diego. My dad still lives there.

Thanks for the welcome. My parents will pass on the Donald FE this cruise. I will start researching good FE gifts now.

My 3 year old Leah enjoys Disney overall (more Disney Jr characters but lots of classic Disney movies) so this cruise will be pretty exciting.

Also this is cruise #5 for DH and I (Alaska-Royal Caribbean, Bahamas-Carnival, Mexican Rivera-Royal Caribbean, and Hawaiian-Norwegian) and #2 for DD (Leah) but first on DCL. I was explaining to DH all the "additional" amenities DCL had to offer and we were both blown away.


Thanks for organizing and managing this. It really makes newcomers like me feel welcomed.

Trying to get to know you all. We have a BIG group!!
Our plan is to fly in on Tuesday and head to the NICK Hotel before the cruise. We will be also going to Animal Kingdom one day. My daughter has never been to WDW. We have with her two older brothers. Her brothers are in High School and College. She was a surprise Baby. So it will be her first time.

I'm trying to figure out transportation. Getting to Nick fro Airport and then Getting to the Port. I think we will just use Nick Resort free shuttle to AK.
Any thoughts? There will be three of us.

If anyone has questions for me , Let me know.
We have been on the Fantasy. Love it!!
We have stayed at the Hyatt the night before and used Disney transportation to and from the airport.
We also used a Hyatt day room on the return for a late flight
We have also been to Grand Caymen and Cozumel.
We have done both Disney and non-Disney Tours.
But don't let this foul you into thinking were experts. The people at this site are. They are great!!
