Shopping, shopping, shopping and some food.
The Reality
We started at The Mall at Millenia and felt very uncomfortable. There were more shopkeepers than customers in every store. We only went into a couple of stores and quickly got bored of being pounced on by the staff. The next stop was the Belz factory stores, after spending a lot of money we went back to the car. As it was raining we ran to our car only to find the key wouldnt work after getting very wet we saw our car a couple of rows over. I bought a new watch only to realise that it wasnt working so took it back the new one stopped working just after I got home.
We arrived at FAO Schwartz shopping area only to find this great toyshop closed. This was a bit of a surprise to us as when we were in New York the FAO Schwartz was closed for refurbishment as well. We later found out it has gone bust. We werent too concerned as the main reason for stopping here was Johnny Rockets. The best burgers and shakes in Orlando as far as I am concerned.
We stopped at all the other shopping areas on the way back down International Drive and I probably spent more money than my sister. We ended the evening with a couple of rounds of mini golf at the winter summerland. The only winners were the mosquitoes. We decided on McDonalds for a meal as we both felt full and couldnt face a full meal. It wasnt until we were carrying the bags back to the room that I was able to contemplate how much we had spent and how little the customs allowance was.
